May 2024 Care Professional of the Month: Ali H.
Ali has been a Care Professional with Home Instead since 2023 bringing with her a great deal of dementia experience. Ali joined Home Instead to help seniors in the community and to grow with the company.
One thing that she enjoys is being able to make seniors feel happy and safe. For instance, there is one particular memory that resonates with Ali. “I was taking my client to a doctor’s appointment, and we put the radio on, listened to music while we were driving, and we sang together”. While all the memories made with clients are special, Ali says, “seeing the joy and light on client’s faces is rewarding no matter what the day holds”.
What inspires Ali to be a Care Professional are the clients’ she works with, each client has a story to tell, and the care we provide, allows clients to remain in their home for as long as possible. One piece advice she shared is, “treat all your clients like family”.
