April 2024 Care Professional of the Month: Janice J.
Janice joined our team in 2022 because she was bored in retirement and wanted to contribute and make a difference. After hearing about Home Instead from a friend, she applied online, and the rest is history. Her favorite part about being a Care Professional is knowing that she can be there to help families that want to keep their loved one at home instead of placing them in a community. In addition, Janice loves being able to provide respite care to our clients loved ones to take a break from their busy day to day or to just simply get a break. Janice shared, “I feel as though I’m a people person who wants to share the love”.
In her time working with seniors Janice has learned that reading, watching hallmark movies, football, and music can help calm a dementia client. Sometimes the stress can get to Care Professionals, and to de stress, Janice shared she will, “take a deep breath in and out and pray”.
