Joseph Bazzinotti, Owner

Joseph Bazzinotti, Owner

Joe has a very strong background in Operations Management. He has a Master's Degree in Operational Leadership from Suffolk University. Joe has been a CEO for several organizations before he took on the ownership role at Home Instead Cape Cod. He loves giving back and is happy he found such a rewarding career in caring for people in need. "This business is perfect for me, I love coming to work every day, my team is the best." Outside of work, Joe lives on the beach and loves playing with his dogs. Joe is a two-time Boston Marathon runner and loves the outdoors.

Monica Petrizzo, RN, BSN

Monica Petrizzo, RN, BSN

Monica joined Home Instead Senior Care on June 16, 2014 as part of our training team and client care. After first practicing as an LPN, Monica returned to school and earned her BSN from St. Joseph College in Connecticut. Monica brings several years of varied nursing experience including long term facility care, governmental agencies, public health, and as a school nurse. Monica is a seasoned trainer with experience teaching high school aged children as well as adults. Monica teaches the Personal Care Homemaker course as well as a number of additional training offerings and in-service opportunities throughout the year. Monica also oversees our Quality Assurance program and provide services as a Client Care Manager. Originally from Connecticut, she and her family vacationed here for years before making Cape Cod their permanent home. Monica and her husband have four grown children and three adorable grandchildren and they hail from Falmouth.​

Kim Stevens, Client Care Manager

Kim Stevens, Client Care Manager

Kim joined Home Instead in 2006 as a caregiver working with many clients over the years. In August of 2015, Kim was promoted to Client Care Manager. Her experience in working in the client’s homes is invaluable to understanding our client’s needs and helping to find the right caregivers to work with them. A native of Massachusetts, Kim and her husband moved to the Cape in July 1994 to raise her family. They reside in Mashpee.

Pamela Bumpus, General / Human Resource Manager

Pamela Bumpus, General Manager

Pamela Bumpus joined HISC in May, 2015. Pam brings with her over 27 years of professional experience. Pam started her career working for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution for 23 years. After voluntarily resigning, Pam then was the Human Resource Manager for The Black Dog Tavern Company. Pam is responsible for the day to day business operations and HR compliance including hiring, training and retention of the CAREGivers as well as all other human resource duties. Pam is a native of Massachusetts and lives with her daughter in Falmouth.

Carl Kapp, Scheduling Coordinator

Carl Kapp, Scheduling Coordinator

Carl Kapp joined Home Instead Cape Cod in the summer of 2019 as our scheduling manager. He brings with him a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. Carl has lived on the Cape for several years now. He has worked in scheduling for a big part of his career. He enjoys the day-to-day challenges that scheduling management brings. Often Carl is always the first one in and last one out as he resolves the many scheduling challenges. We are very fortunate to have Carl and his skills here at Home Instead.
Bernadette E. Pardo, Administrative Assistant

Bernadette E. Pardo, Administrative Assistant

Bernadette joined Home Instead Senior Care in October 2013 as a CAREGiver. She was promoted to Administrative Assistant in February 2014. "Bernie" assists the manager of human resources in the day to day operations, as well as other staff members as necessary. A native of Massachusetts, Bernie and her husband relocated to Cape Cod in June of 2013. They reside in Sandwich and have two grown daughters and two grandsons.​

Colleen Mercurio, On Call Coordinator

Colleen Mercurio, On Call Coordinator

Colleen joined Home Instead Senior Care in June of 2014 as the Weeknight On-Call Coordinator. She brings to HISC her compassion for helping others by assisting clients and maintaining the schedule until the office reopens each morning. Colleen has a degree in Environmental Science and works in the municipal sector during the day. She and her husband have three young children and reside in Yarmouth.​​
