Home Instead History & Mission
More than a Business: A Mission in Life
Kelly Hutchison opened the doors of Home Instead in Elk Grove Village in 2005. He is driven by a deep-seated and heartfelt desire to improve the lives of seniors. Kelly watched his mother care for his father, a WWII Army veteran, for 15 years. Kelly's parents lived in an isolated farm community and his mother was the sole care giver for his father. Her journey was difficult and lonely, but always done lovingly and with patience.
This experience inspired Kelly to help families with aging loved ones. Prior to Home Instead, Kelly worked at IBM. His business experience helped him develop and manage a world-class care team. His team of competent managers and excellent CAREGivers will help you in your journey!
What is one thing Kelly is particularly proud of? Kelly is proud of lasting, personal connections with Home Instead’s most valued employees: the CAREGivers. Call 847-690-9825 today so you can meet a CAREGiver chosen specially for your loved one.
To Us, It’s Personal®
Our founders, Paul and Lori Hogan, launched Home Instead in 1994 to provide care to Paul’s 90-year-old grandmother. Remarkably, after she began receiving personalized, in-home care that allowed her to age safely in the place she loved most – the family home – Grandma Manhart thrived for an additional decade!
That’s why, to us, senior care is personal. We’re passionate about Enhancing the lives of Aging Adults and their Families®.
