About Us

Meet Our Team

patricia t

Patricia Thiele, Office Manager

Why Home Instead: Patricia chose Home Instead because of what it stands for. Her grandmother, who was more like a mother to her, was a nurse and taught Patricia what it meant to care for someone. Not to just put a band-aid on a problem and hope that it goes away, but to really diagnose what is going on and prepare a treatment plan for that person. This, to her, is what Home Instead does. By Building Trust, Taking the Lead, and Sharing their Heart, Home Instead staff can help clients with their 8 care needs. (Safe environment, gait, transfer, medications, personal care, nutrition, cognition, and social.) Utilizing her Bachelor’s in Health Care Administration, Patricia is excited to lead the team helping the aging population in the East Valley.

In My Free Time: Patricia enjoys spending time with her three children, husband, and two dogs. When she has some time to herself, she enjoys cooking/baking, reading, and doing a wide variety of puzzle books.

Lori Van Voorhis, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

At Home Instead she leverages her strengths in Human Resources, while also ensuring our seniors are in good hands by ensuring CAREGivers are updated on the latest laws, policies, and trainings/certifications.

In My Free Time: Lori enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog Willie.
cozette t

Cozette Tripp, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

linda w

Linda Wery, Client Care Coordinator

Why Home Instead: Linda joined Home Instead as a CAREGiver and was quickly noticed due to the immense care and compassion she showed to her clients. Although it took some convincing, Linda eventually joined us in an office role to continue improving the lives of our local seniors by overseeing their accounts rather than caring for them directly. She soon realized that she had found her calling in a company that she would trust with her own family.

In My Free Time: Linda enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as crafting, mostly with resin.
amanda m

Amanda Maurer, Client Care Coordinator

Why Home Instead: Amanda joined Home Instead as a CAREGiver to uniquely meet her client’s needs leveraging her previous Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)  certification and has since joined our office team. In My Free Time: Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, reading, hiking, and travelling.
