Symphony Krueger 2024

Symphony Krueger, Owner

Meet Symphony Krueger, the dedicated owner of Home Instead in La Mesa. With a passion for helping others and a background in early childhood education spanning over 16 years, Symphony brings a wealth of experience and compassion to the senior care industry.

Symphony's journey with Home Instead began in 2010 when she joined the team in Sacramento. From the start, she was driven by a deep-seated desire to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life. Transitioning from nurturing young minds to caring for seniors, Symphony found her calling in ensuring that individuals of all ages receive the respect, kindness, and support they deserve.

Throughout her tenure at Home Instead, Symphony has risen through the ranks, honing her skills in caregiver recruitment, training, coaching, and leadership. Her commitment to assembling top-notch care teams stems from her belief that every client deserves the highest standard of care to maintain independence, safety in their own homes and being a resource to navigate the aging journey.

Now at the helm of the La Mesa office since February 2024, Symphony remains steadfast in her promise to uphold dignity, respect, and excellence in care delivery. She envisions Home Instead as more than just a service provider but as a cornerstone of support for employees and families alike. Symphony is dedicated to offering tailored solutions that enable local seniors to age gracefully and comfortably at home, wherever you may call home.

Dawn B,  CAREGiver Training

Dawn B., Care Pro Training & Administrative Assistant​

Dawn Joined Home Instead in March 2011 as a Care Professional. She loves working with the senior community and has always had a passion for helping older adults. In May 2013, she was promoted to work in our office. She has held many different positions within our organization and currently manages the training programs for our care professionals. Dawn is originally from Colorado. She has been married 35 years, has a son that works for NASA and has two adorable dogs.

Maria M., Hiring Manager

Maria started with Home Instead in 2019 as a Care Professional. She knew the minute she walked in the office that she had found her calling. “My happy place. My heart has always been in making a difference in someone’s life, especially our seniors. I enjoyed my journey as a caregiver. Touching our clients’ hearts and bringing them joy in the process of helping them with their needs.” In 2020, Maria was promoted to Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator of Home Instead-La Mesa. Now she uses her passion for helping aging adults as her motivation for recruiting the best of the best care professionals.

JessicaR 2022

Jessica R., Service Coordinator

Jessica began her career with Home Instead in May of 2022 as a Care Professional. She demonstrated strong compassion and attentiveness towards our clients. Shortly after, she became a Lead Care Professional working side by side with other Care Professionals giving quality guidance. In October of 2022, Jessica moved into the Service Coordinator position and now has the exciting task of matching our clients with the right Care Professionals.

Carolyn D 2023

Carolyn D., Client Care Coordinator

Carolyn joined Home Instead in April 2023 as a Client Care Coordinator. She has been serving seniors in California for over 15 years, primarily in the role of Marketing Director for various senior communities throughout the state.  Her passion is working with families caring for a loved one with dementia. Carolyn was a live-in caregiver for a senior with dementia for a year, and her mother had Alzheimer’s. When she is not working, Carolyn enjoys cooking and spending time with her four granddaughters.

Jennifer Griffith,  Staffing Coordinator

Jennifer G., On-Call Supervisor

Jennifer began with Home Instead in 2016 as Care Professional and eventually joined our administrative team holding such positions as Administrative Assistant, Interim Recruitment Coordinator, and Staffing Coordinator. Having cared for aging adults in the field, she is well-attuned to client needs as well as those of the Care Professionals assisting them. Her commitment to outstanding home care continues in her current role as On-Call Supervisor, serving clients and Care Professionals during evening and weekend hours.
