Meet Our Team

Leslie B, Director of Operations
Leslie has over 20 year of experience in the senior care industry. She has a passion for helping seniors and their loved ones who care for them.
She has previously held positions of Secretary, Chair-Elect and Chair for and the San Diego/Imperial County Regional Home Care Council. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for Meals-on-Wheels Greater San Diego, Inc. where she is the current Chair of the Finance Committee.
Leslie is very active in state legislative issues pertaining to providing quality homecare for seniors and others. She has been a committee member for the California Association for Health Services at Home on both the Home Care Aide and Policy, Advocacy & Public Affairs Committees and is a member of the International Franchise Association and the Home Care Association of America.

Yolanda O, CAREGiver Care Management and Quality Assurance
Yolanda has been with us since 2003. She started out as a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver and was promoted into the office after caregiving for over a year. Yolanda is responsible for training and developing our CAREGiver team and conducts our quality assurance program.

Dawn B, CAREGiver Training and Administrative Assistant​
Dawn Joined Home Instead in March 2011 as Caregiver. She loves working with the senior community & has always had a passion for helping older adults. In May 2013 she was promoted to work in our office. She has held many different positions within the team. Currently she enjoys handling the Training for our caregivers. She is originally from Colorado, married 35 years, has a son that works for Nasa, and has 2 adorable dogs.

Jennifer G, Weekend and On-Call Supervisor
Jennifer began with Home Instead as a CAREGiver in 2016, and eventually grew into the role of our staffing coordinator. Having cared for seniors out in the field herself, she is well-attuned to client needs. She also really enjoys the fast-pace and the challenge of managing the many moving parts associated with scheduling and staffing. Jennifer's goal is to make great matches between CAREGiver and client. She is thrilled to be able to serve seniors and their families.

My heart has always been in making a difference in someone’s life, especially our seniors. I enjoyed my journey as a caregiver. Touching our clients’ hearts and bringing them joy in the process of helping them with their needs. In 2020 I was promoted as Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator for our office. Now I get to use my passion of helping our aging adults onto finding the best caregivers out there".

Julia B. Service Coordinator
Julia began her career with us a CAREGiver in 2020. After one year of caregiver, she has transitioned into the office as our new Service Coordinator.
