Home Instead Meets With the Amazing Women Behind Sewers and Rippers in Auburn, CA

At Home Instead of Auburn, CA, we cherish the moments when we can connect with inspiring individuals and groups in our community. Recently, we had the honor of meeting the remarkable women of the Sewers and Rippers quilting group. Founded by Rhonda in 2001, this group's mission is as heartwarming as it is essential: to serve the Lord by creating and providing quilts where they are needed most.

Fast forward 22 years, and the Sewers and Rippers have woven a tapestry of love and compassion that stretches far beyond our local borders. Their beautiful quilts have found their way into 25 countries, bringing warmth and comfort to people in need. Whether it's retirement communities, areas affected by natural disasters like floods and fires, or countless other places, these quilts carry with them the love and care of this extraordinary group.

What's even more beautiful than the quilts they create is the community they've built among themselves. Their gatherings are not just about sewing; they're about coming together to make a difference and support one another. If you're interested in joining this incredible community of caring hearts, the Sewers and Rippers meet every Tuesday from 9 AM to 1 PM. You don't need to be a sewing expert; they're eager to teach and welcome women of all ages.

At Home Instead, we are committed to enhancing the lives of seniors and their families by providing top-notch home care in Auburn, CA, and fostering connections within our community.
