Buck Shaw, Franchise Owner
Your Home Instead Senior Care franchise owner, Buck Shaw, possesses a heartfelt desire to work with seniors in our community. He opened the Sacramento and Sierra Foothills Home Instead Senior Care offices in1997 after caring for his own father for ten years prior. He learned firsthand the challenges, frustrations, joys and successes that only a Caregiver knows. He is deeply committed to the highest quality care for Sacramento seniors. The local Home Instead Senior Care office has a strong history of involvement in local senior issues and giving back to the Capital City's senior community.

Lori French, Community Care Coordinator
Lori is a Community Care Coordinator here at Home Instead. She joined the Home Instead team in 2007 as a Caregiver. After a year of being a Caregiver, Lori took advantage of Home Instead’s career path and joined the Home Instead office team and has been here since. By taking care of her father-in-law and working full time, she knows the hardships, and joys of taking care of a loved one. She loves what Home Instead provides to our seniors in our communities and lives by the Home Instead motto “Enhancing every life possible by providing extraordinary care.” In her spare time, she enjoys nature, camping, sailing, family and people.
Jenn Silagi, Director of Community Care
Jenn is our Director of Community Care. She has been with Home Instead since 2017 and has filled various roles in that time. Jenn began her career as a Family Liaison with a pediatric medical daycare. After watching her father struggle with the stress of taking care of his aging parents, she made the decision to work with Seniors and their families to help them have the time to enjoy each other and make the most of the final years. When she is not working, she enjoys hiking, reading, spending time with her family, and snuggling her dogs.
