Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Report changes in client condition in a timely manner
- Assistance with personal hygiene, grooming and bathing
- Assistance with ambulatory needs
- Assistance with medication reminders
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Provide transportation to doctors appointments or shopping as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Professional experience NOT required; paid training and HHA certification provided on site.
Qualifications to be a professional CAREGiver with Home Instead:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with compassion, dignity and respect
- Willingness to complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen, possess a valid driver’s license, auto insurance and a reliable vehicle.
