Cristian D., President
Home Instead's mission is to "change the face of aging" in Rhode Island. Non-medical and personal care services provided by trusted Caregivers and CNAs give families the support they need for elder loved ones to remain at home with dignity and respect.
Since 1997, Home Instead staff has grown to over 100 full and part-time employees serving thousands of families in Rhode Island. "My staff shares in my passion for serving the community and delivering on our promise of excellence. Our values are uncompromising as they are the foundation on which our reputation has been built." Since 2017, Cris has been an active member of the board for for the American Parkinson's Disease Association, where he currently serves as Treasurer.
Cris, his management staff, Caregivers, CNAs are privileged everyday to help families by providing home care solutions to the most challenging and difficult aging-in-place decisions families face today.

Patti B.
Patti joins the Home Instead office team after serving as a Caregiver and Ambassador for almost 4 years. She worked in the dental field for 35 years as chairside assistant, hygienist, then owner of an orthodontic lab. Early retirement plans included missionary work (foreign and domestic) before morphing into a passion for caring for the elderly.

Jackie R., RN - Director of Nursing
The leader of our dedicated Client Care Team, Jackie brings 15 years of experience as an Registered Nurse to Home Instead. In addition to Home Care, she has worked in many different settings including ICU, Hospice, and Assisted Living. Outside of work, Jackie enjoys traveling, entertaining, and spending time with her family.

Laina M. Client Care Coordinator (Nurse)
Laina joined Home Instead in October 2023. She received her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Excelsior University. She has over a decade of experience as a nurse and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings. Laina understands the difficult transitions that take place for the aging and those who care for them. She prides herself in reducing the stress and streamlining processes. She is most happy setting others up for success, through motivation and coaching while coming up with creative ideas. She cherishes the caregivers who do this valuable work. She is grateful to be part of a team that promotes lifelong wellness and dignity and looks forward to prioritizing and nurturing client relationships.

Noel "JR" C., Client Care / Tech Support
JR earned a degree in Organizational Communication and has extensive experience in customer relations. He is passionate about having meaningful conversations with clients and finding ways to offer them the best options available. He first experienced the joy of helping others when he took care of his grandmother with her activities of daily living. This satisfaction drove him to search for a career in senior care and is now able to help seniors as a member of the client care team.

Crystal D., Engagement Coordinator
Crystal joined our Home Instead team in August 2015, working first as a Certified Nursing Assistant and then transitioning into our office. Crystal was our Receptionist and an On-Call Supervisor prior to finding her home on the Engagement Team. Before joining Home Instead, Crystal has also worked as an office manager, medical records manager, and in a group home for children. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her two children.

Aalok K., Recruitment Coordinator
Aalok joined our Home Instead team in June 2023. Aalok has received his Master’s in Business Administration from Johnston & Wales University. He has previously worked as a recruiter at a non-profit organization, helping to support and empower individuals with several life challenges. Aalok believes that with compassion and empathy – we all can make a difference in the world, one family at a time.

Jenico E., Recruitment Coordinator
Jenico joined our Home Instead team in June 2023. Prior to working with Home Instead, Jen worked as a Senior Recruiter for 5 years with Nurses and Allied professionals. Providing compassionate and quality care to others has been important to Jen throughout her career, which has included serving as a Family Health Associate and Registered Nurse in the Department of Health.

Brittany M., Service Manager
Brittany joined the Home Instead team in February 2019 as a Caregiver. She became the on-call supervisor shortly after. For the last 10 years she was a lead preschool teacher at an enrichment program facility. She was the site coordinator of the before and after school program and the staffing scheduler for the whole facility. Brittany was a pass-worker for young teens from 2017-2019. She helped acclimate them into real world situations. About 6 years ago Brittany was a per-diem CNA on the weekends at a nursing home. Her love for helping people has shined bright through out the years. She will be reactivating her CNA license by taking the Home Instead CNA course in May 2019. Brittany loves the idea of letting people age in place and letting things be more personal.

Donna Lynn C., Service Coordinator
Donna joined the team May of 2015 as the Family Resource Specialist, then moved to Staffing Coordinator. She has received an Associate's Degree in Human Services with her concentration in Mental Illness and Substance abuse. Her eclectic list of experience includes work in group homes assisting adults with special needs, education for 17 years with both typical and special needs children, a behavioral specialist for a nonprofit organization and work in a Home Based Therapeutic Program with Autistic Children who had a history of abuse. She also worked Field Agent at Met life and was living as a caregiver for an elderly man who had Alzheimer's the last 3 years of his life. Her experience has brought her to this perfect fit of Service Coordinator, helping Caregivers and client families with aging safely at home.

Sarah M., Service Coordinator
Home Instead On-call Supervisors handle all client, Caregiver and inquiry calls after 5pm weekdays and on weekends. Home Instead provides service 24 hours/7 days a week. Our clients and Caregiver know we are only a phone call away from immediately responding to any crises and have told us many times how confident they are in our ability to respond with good judgment and calming assistance in any situation that arises after hours. To us, it's personal. Knowing we are counted on at any given moment to offer help is a responsibility of which we all are proud. It assures us that we are "changing the face of aging."

Paula L., Billing and Payroll Specialist

Tai K. RN - CNA Instructor
Taiwo (Tai) is a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience. She is a proud graduate of Rhode Island College and has previously worked as a Director of Nursing as well as a Nursing Home Administrator. She is passionate about working with students that are interested in the field of nursing/ care givers. Tai joined the Home Instead family in October 2023 as a CNA training instructor and looks forward to teaching nursing skills.
