Local Home Instead Senior Care owner, Andrew Clifford, takes great pride in providing the highest quality of home care service to clients and family members in the New Haven County area. Andrew's passion for helping seniors began at an early age, assisting his grandparents who lived a couple of blocks away from his childhood home in Hamden. Long before Home Instead Senior Care, it was through the collective efforts of the family that they were able to stay at home-the only place they wanted to be. Andrew is also very involved with various community and industry organizations whose mission it is to keep seniors safe and independent at home. Service Coordinator

Originally from Michigan, Cheryl moved to Connecticut in 1990 and worked with children for many years as a nanny, pre school teacher and Administrator of a Day Care School. Cheryl joined Home Instead Senior Care in January 2008 as a CAREGiver and moved into the office in 2011. She currently serves as the Service Coordinator. Cheryl is a certified trainer for CAREGivers working with clients with Alzheimer's or Dementia. She lives in Derby with her husband, 2 children and 2 cockatiels. Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

Jennifer started as a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care in May 2015 and joined the office staff in January 2016. Her professional background includes early childhood education and event management, most recently, she working in operations management for a non-profit. On the side, she decorates ice cream cakes. She is the proud mother of one son and three kitties. Jennifer loves spending time with family and friends, watching movies and listening to music, and being the biggest fan at her son's football games. Quality Assurance Coordinator

Kara joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in 2010. Prior to that, she worked in customer service for AT&T (formerly SNET) for 11 years. As Quality Assurance Coordinator, Kara spends time visiting with clients and CAREGivers in the field. She often finds it difficult to get many visits in because she wants to build a personal relationship with each client, listen to their stories and chat one-on-one.
