If you love providing hands-on personal care to a senior in need, then we would love to have you on our team. We have a need for individuals who are able to work Saturday and Sunday and are open to working 4 hours shifts, up to twice a day (longer shifts may be available) We have various weekend slots open and are seeking caregivers who are eager to serve seniors in need.
LOOKING FOR:
- Caregivers with big hearts who love to take care of others!
- Available Saturday and Sunday anytime between 7am - 11pm
- Start work sooner if already registered as Home Care Aide (HCA) with the State of California
- Experience not required, but certainly welcome
WE CAN OFFER:
- In-house paid training
- Shifts as soon as training is done!
Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Personal care with showering, toileting, dressing and grooming (all training to be provided)
- Standby assist with walking and other tasks
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminder
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Able and available to work 3 or 4 hours shifts up to two times a day; longer shifts may also be available
