Duane Sinn, Owner

Duane Sinn, Owner

Drawing from his own family experiences, Duane has a passion for working with the elderly and allowing them to remain in their comfort zone. He understands the importance of living in one's home and believes all seniors should be given this opportunity. Since joining the company, Duane has helped raise awareness for seniors and the risks of living alone.

Home Instead's CAREGivers are near and dear to Duane's heart. "The service level our CAREGivers provide allows our clients and their families to feel secure in selecting Home Instead," Duane states. "We truly have an amazing group of dedicated CAREGivers who are changing the lives of our clients every day by providing the assistance they need."

George Budd, General Manager

In his role as General Manager, George brings over two decades of healthcare executive leadership skills to alternate site care. His career has been distinguished by the efficiency of his operational management initiatives and as a forward-thinking strategist, which stems from a passion for serving clients. He has been praised by his peers as a friendly and approachable team leader who is focused on creating a caring and nurturing environment.

As a father of four and a grandfather of three, the importance of family is a guiding principle when it comes to how he approaches his job. He views his position as being an integral member of the extended family of the clients he serves. An avid fisherman and an Indy Car enthusiast, George always takes a genuine interest in the hobbies and interests of everyone he meets.

George firmly believes in the quote attributed to Mark Twain, “Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

Jane Sewell, Office Manager

Jane Sewell, Office Manager

​Past experiences of providing care for her parents and her uncle have illustrated to Jane the importance of having a caring and passionate individual to help take care of loved ones. She has been working with the CAREGiver staff to help them deliver care at a higher level to provide an exceptional client experience.

Jane graduated from Purdue University, and with her experiences along with her passion for providing care to seniors has her well prepared to manage the daily activities of the office.

A guiding principle of Jane's is: "One can't always visualize the reward, but it's pointless to set expectations if you are not going to try to accomplish them."

Chanel Cunningham, Client Care Manager

Chanel is the first point of contact for families wishing to receive or looking to inquire about services. She works directly with clients and their families to assure the highest level of care is received. She meets clients in their homes to assist them in putting together the best care plan tailored to their needs. Chanel leads with compassion, knowledge, and empathy. She personally understands the importance of remaining in the comfort of one's own home, while continuing to receive excellent care.

Chanel graduated from Purdue University and brings years of experience in sales operations. She also worked for a non-profit where she gained her passion for helping others while building relationships. Chanel is now able to fulfill her desire of assisting clients on a more personal level, coaching them, and standing by their side through their entire journey of remaining in the home.

Team Member Gabe

Gabe Clippert, Home Care Consultant

As Home Care Consultant, Gabe is focused on client-centered sales and marketing, while building relationships with our community partners. Gabe has siblings with special needs and has been supportive in helping them strive for a higher quality of life. He uses this experience to provide the highest level of service for our clients.

Gabe is a graduate of Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. He comes to Home Instead with experience in communications, human resources, and distribution management. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports.

Bree Katz, Client Care Coordinator

Bree comes to Home Instead with over 14 years in Senior Care. She began as a CNA, enrolled in Indiana University of Pennsylvania and attained her Bachelor’s in Speech Pathology. She then transitioned to work at Brookdale Senior Living where she helped seniors adapt and transition into their new surroundings and eventually Anthology Senior Living. Deciding she wanted to focus more on helping individuals age in the comfort of their own home, she joined our team. As Client Care Coordinator, she works with clients and their families to assure the best level of care is received through routine home checkups and telephone inquiries. Bree enjoys meeting with clients and families, ensuring that they are receiving the utmost professional and compassionate care.

Jackie White, Director of Client Services

Jackie White, Director of Client Services

From a young age, Jackie knew she wanted to care for seniors. From visiting individuals in hospitals to singing carols at nursing homes, senior care truly was her passion. Prior to Home Instead, Jackie worked as a certified nursing assistant in various nursing facilities throughout Indianapolis focusing mainly on care for Alzheimer's and dementia patients.

Jackie states, "I love being active with families and providing them with solutions, I love making a difference in the lives of seniors and I love working with clients to help maintain their lifestyle at home. Home is where your heart is!"​​

Tiffany Baker, Client Services Coordinator

Tiffany joined the Home Instead team shortly after earning her bachelor’s in healthcare administration from Purdue Global in 2021. She brings a lot of experience, having worked in the healthcare industry for almost 15 years as a CNA in LTC and assisted living, as well as being in urgent care as a Medical Assistant. Tiffany works with all clients and CAREGivers establishing their schedules and care needs, while supporting their care through quality assurance checks. She has a passion for coaching and a desire to make a difference in the lives of aging adults, their families, and the CAREGivers.

Tiffany and her husband, Adam, have 3 beautiful daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and attending concerts.

Kathy Leatherman, Recruitment and Retention Coordinator

Kathy Leatherman, Recruitment and Retention Coordinator

Kathy manages the recruitment of CAREGivers, coordinates orientation, and handles many of the daily office functions. "The thing I love the most about my job is knowing that I am helping the seniors in my community be able to stay in their homes."

Kathy has worked in healthcare for the past 16 years in management and marketing. She has always enjoyed spending time with seniors and has personal care-giving experience by caring for her grandmother and live-in mother-in-law for years. The Home Instead CAREGiver she had for her family member also gave her the support she needed and a peace of mind that her loved one was in good hands. This is when she decided she wanted to work in home care because it makes such a difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

Kathy enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening, crafts and reading. Her favorite sayings are "Do what you love" and "Make the most of every day."

Rose Vallejo, Human Resources Manager

Rose attained her bachelor’s degree in business administration and immediately began working as HR Director within the manufacturing industry. Rose had been caring for her aging grandmother for some time and remembering that sense of gratification one feels from being a CAREGiver, she knew she wanted to do more within her community, she began looking in the health care field. With her experience, knowledge, and having cared for her own aging grandmother, Rose has a deeper understanding of the value in having the best care possible for your loved one. She strives for excellence and that is what she looks for in each CAREGiver that she interviews.
