Angela - June 2022 CAREGiver of the Month
Angela has been a dedicated CAREGiver with Home Instead since 2018. She has always served our clients with professionalism and integrity and provides great care with compassion. Angela’s kindness and understanding of clients who suffer from Dementia and Alzheimer’s is beyond compare. She also works with special needs children in the school system and on her school breaks always picks up more hours for our clients. We are so lucky to have Angela on our time for the past 4 years and look forward to many more!

We have a Home Instead first with a full team of caregivers that deserve recognition. “Team Patricia” consists of Vicki, Gwen(not pictured), and Jackie. Michelle’s client and her family agree that she absolutely deserves this recognition! The family says Michelle goes over and above every day. She is respectful, honest, incredibly caring and won’t stop cleaning! The change the family has seen in their loved one during Michelle’s time with her client is remarkable. There are not many males in the field of CAREGiving and we always wish there were more. They are certainly in demand! Timothy is exceptional. He works 6 days a week and he cares very much for each individual that he visits with. Once Timothy is introduced to someone, he stays with them for a very long time. He has taken advantage of every specialized training that we have to offer, everything from Alzheimer training to CPR. We have been very fortunate to have Tim with us for over a year. We look forward to many more.

Carolyn is dedicated, reliable, and a very hard worker. She has committed herself to assisting one special woman every day. She has a very close bond and built a wonderful relationship with her. Carolyn is very experienced and knowledgeable in Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She spends extra time with them going through family photo albums and taking her to familiar places of her past. Carolyn has patience and kindness like no other. She is a blessing to many. Carolyn has often said that even individual she spends time with has been a blessing in her own life. She has been able to build such deep relationships and gained a deeper understanding of life, love, and the true value of caregiving.

Shirley - 2020 CAREGiver of the Year
Shirley has been a dedicated, compassionate, heart of gold CAREGiver since 2004. She has worked nearly 13,341 hours for Home Instead! Shirley has been the Lead CAREGiver for a 24/7 client over the last 3 years. Her client requested that she remain her CAREGiver as she believes she would not have “lasted this long” if it were not for Shirley. Shirley shares our same values: that we treat our clients as we would treat our family. She expressed that, “We are there to help them do the things they can no longer do for themselves. It makes me feel good being able to be there when they may not have anyone else”.
Shirley shares with us that her favorite part of being a CAREGiver is being able to learn new things from her clients. “It is a joy working with seniors. They teach me things that I didn’t know. They tell me stories about things that I didn’t get to live through” She has learned different ways of cooking her favorite meals and new recipes. She respects her clients and their knowledge.
Katie - December 2020 CAREGiver of the Month
What a wonderful caregiver we have in Katie! Katie is already a very busy young lady between going to classes at Marian University and staying active, but that doesn’t stop her from giving her spare time to our clients and ensuring they are taken care of and feel loved. Her primary client has wonderful things to say about her, and truly appreciates how hard she works and her personal drive. Her passion and drive for helping others is reflected in everything she does, and we truly value her as an employee.
Breta - November 2020 CAREGiver of the Month
Breta is a wonderful person. She is caring and compassionate; she is always there when anyone needs her. Breta works six days a week for two people consistently. She has built a bond with them and established a level of trust that is vital in making these relationships successful. When you see Breta, she is always smiling. She is reliable, committed, and goes the extra mile for every family she sees.
Nya - October 2020 CAREGiver of the Month
Nya was carefully selected as CAREGiver of the Month due to her reliability, her kind and humble demeanor, her attention to detail, and most of all her natural ability to go over and beyond for those whom she assists. She is pictured with her client. Her client, Rebecca said that she was honored to be there when Nya was awarded CAREGiver of the month and if she had a choice, Nya would win every month. She trusts Nya as if they were family. They have established an ever-lasting bond that cannot be broken. Rebecca even went a bought a cake to celebrate this honor.

In the four years that Cre has been with us, she has been an amazing relief for so many families. The most recent family that she assisted couldn’t say even wonderful things about her. Allan has been a wonderful addition to our Home Instead family. He has been with us for 15 great years! He is a hard worker, he is dedicated, and he puts all of himself into each family that he visits. The families that he sees often call the office to share with us how wonderful he is and how much he not only assists in the specifically requested assistance but the amazing companionship and respite that he offers each of them.
