Kenneth Tak, President

Kenneth Tak joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2016 after being in the health care field for over a decade as the Director of Finance and Operations for a nationally recognized fertility clinic in the Bay Area. Kenneth earned his BS in finance, another BS in computer information systems, and a Master of Health Administration. He brings over 25 years of finance, business management, IT and health care management experience to our community. Joining and living Home Instead is very personal for Kenneth having lost loved ones to cancer in recent years. He feels that how a person lives out the final stages of life is just as important as how they lived the beginning stages of their life. He found that the services Home Instead Senior Care provides is essential and vital to providing the independence, honor, dignity and respect that each and every one of our seniors deserve. His role as president of this franchise allows him to lead a team who shares his vision and passion to make this a reality.

Aireen Strong, Director of Operations

Aireen started her career 20 years ago, serving the senior community as a caregiver. She has years of experience being an Activity Coordinator for a senior day program, a Program Coordinator at low income senior housing facility, and a Staffing Coordinator for a non-profit home care agency. Aireen started working for Home Instead in 2009 as a Staffing Coordinator. She worked and learned the industry from the ground up. She is currently the Director of Operations at Home Instead Senior Care where she works overseeing and troubleshooting day to day office and field operations. After starting work with Home Instead, she realized her true calling is to provide excellent service to seniors in our community. Her long experience in the field of senior care paired with her problem-solving skills and compassionate nature made Aireen an ideal advocate for clients as well as caregivers. Aireen enjoys cooking, walks on the beach, spending time with family and friends and watching home improvement and cooking TV shows.

Matt Soza, Home Care Consultant

Matt joined the Home Instead team over 6 years ago. This is his 11th year in the healthcare field with 7 of those years in the senior industry. Matt was previously a golf professional for over 13 years. He spends his days working with local hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and assisted livings in the community to proactively meet the needs of aging seniors in our community. He meets with and advises all prospective families looking for home care for their loved ones. He loves working for a company that employs him to do what’s best for the family. Matt spends his time at the gym, playing golf and spending time with his family.

Jamie Morgan, Scheduling Coordinator

Jamie began her caregiving career over 30 years ago, where she started as a candy striper, worked her way to becoming a nurse aide and then earning her CNA license in 1990. She then progressed to hold a variety of roles in providing care for seniors including 3 years of working directly with Alzheimer’s patients in a dementia care facility, 5 years of working in an assisted living facility where she advanced to the business director position and obtained her RCFE Administrators license, and over 9 years with a hospice where she held the position of clinical administration manager. In 2013, Jamie joined the Home Instead Senior Care team as the Staffing Coordinator where she is able to find the perfect match for our caregivers and clients. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and friends, spending time at the beach and going to concerts.

Imran Mohammed, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

Imran began his career in senior care over 10 years ago, as an Activities and Medical Records Assistant. His mother, who’s been in health care since the late 1990’s, encouraged him to follow in her footsteps. He has been working in the Human Resources/Recruiting field since 2015 and enjoys being a part of the hiring and onboarding journey for caregivers. He loves seeing the passion they have in wanting to take care of today’s seniors. He has worked in Assisting Living and Skilled Nursing communities but after starting work with Home Instead Senior Care he realized how important it is for seniors to stay in their homes for as long as they can. In his off days, Imran enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Crystal Tapia, Client Care Coordinator

Crystal was born and raised in Gilroy Ca; there she began her career in senior care in 2012 working in assisted living facilities and memory care units. In 2015 she became a member of the Home Instead Senior Care team as a caregiver and in 2018 was given the title of Lead Caregiver. Eventually finding her role as the Client Care Coordinator, you will see Crystal out in the field performing quality assurance visits, introducing caregivers to our clients and their respected family members, and delivering personal protective equipment to our caregivers. She also plays a role in the orientation process as she works side by side with new caregivers teaching them hands on personal care and safety. Her goal for our aging community is to enrich their daily lives by helping them stay in their homes for as long as possible by creating a safe and happy environment that allows them to maintain the lifestyle they have always known.
