Ned - April 2023 Care Pro of the Month
Ned has a strong history of helping others. He worked for Meals on Wheels for many years as well as working with those with special needs. He didn't have previous 'caregiving' experience before joining the team but was willing and eager to learn. Ned can often be found making his clients laugh – he has such a joyful personality. Ned connects in a way that the client and their family members question what they did without the help of Home Instead. Thank you, Ned, and congratulations!
Sarah - March 2023 Care Pro of the Month
Sarah joined Home Instead last year. She works with clients requiring a wide range of care and does it well. Her clients speak highly of her – especially about her patience and reliability. When not working, Sarah can be found studying (pursuing a nursing degree) and taking walks outside. Please join us in congratulating Sarah!
Alexandria - February 2023 Care Pro of the Month
Congratulations to Alexandria for being selected as our February Care Pro of the Month. Alex worked for Home Instead in Mason, OH before moving to Columbus. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to pick up a shift any time we call her! Alex is incredibly experienced and is able to work with all levels of clients – including those who need companionship and those who require a Hoyer lift. Clients always comment on Alex’s sweet personality and beautiful smile. Congratulations and thank you Alex for all you do for our clients!
Pat - January 2023 Care Pro of the Month
Pat has been with Home Instead for 5 years. She makes great connections with her clients. One of her clients lives in Memory Care and Pat is known for knowing all of the names of the other residents and greets them every shift she works. When not working, Pat and her husband run a Santa Express serving hundreds of people during the holiday season. Pat is pictured with her client, Elaine. Congratulations Pat!
Kathy - December 2022 Care Pro of the Month
Congrats to Kathy for being the December Care Professional of the month! Kathy joined Home Instead in 2012 working for the Granville office. She joined our office in 2022 after she moved to Columbus. Kathy makes easy connections with clients and is very versatile. She often works last-minute shifts to cover call-offs and always has a smile on her face. Kathy has a long history of working holidays – she brings joy to clients who are not able to be with their families. In November, while Kathy was working with her client on Thanksgiving, she was helping with holiday baking. Thank you, and congratulations Kathy!
Jodi - November 2022 Care Pro of the Month
Jodi’s current clients are a married couple who adore her. The wife is happy to leave the house, but the husband is a different story. Jodi recently set a goal with the husband to dine out for a meal. With much encouragement, patience, and planning, the clients and Jodi went out to eat at a favorite restaurant of the couple. Jodi always has a beautiful smile on her face and radiates joy. Thank you and congrats Jodi!
Tusmo - October 2022 Care Pro of the Month
Tusmo was recently praised by a client’s family as a Home Instead Care Professional who ‘always seems to know just what to say to their family member who has advanced Alzheimer’s. She has also been described by a client’s family as ‘so compassionate’. Tusmo is willing to work with a great variety of clients and makes a great first, second, and third impression. She just worked tirelessly with a hospice client who was at end of life, and she adjusted her schedule to work extra shifts to help support the family and the client. Congratulations to Tusmo for being recognized as the Care Professional of the Month for October!
Cindy - September 2022 Care Pro of the Month
Cindy began her journey with Home Instead working at the Granville franchise where she worked more than 10 years. Once Klay and Amy purchased the Franklin and Delaware county businesses, Cindy joined our Home Instead team. Cindy is flexible and can work with any client – regardless of their level of care. She excels when working with clients with Dementia (including Alzheimer's) and works very hard to find ways to connect. Thank you, Cindy, for all you do for the clients of Home Instead – you really make it personal!
Tammy - August 2022 Care Pro of the Month
Our Care Professional of the Month is Tammy! Tammy joined Home Instead with 11 years of experience in the health field. She easily engages with her clients and makes an immediate connection. Tammy has worked with a range of clients and has a gift when working with clients who have advanced dementia. Her current client insists that they split a lunch every Friday so she no longer packs her lunch on Friday’s. She and her current client also have a mutual love of cats. Valeria - July 2022 Care Pro of the Month
Our Care Professional of the Month is Valeria! Val came to Home Instead with a background of helping others. She works with a variety of clients and has been known to sing a few favorite hymns to bring a client peace. She recently brought library books to engage another client – she is always thinking about her clients needs. Thank you and Congratulations Val for being our July Care Professional of the Month!
Jo - June 2022 Care Pro of the Month
Our CAREGiver of the Month is Josefina! Jo works with a variety of clients who have a variety of care needs and she easily adapts. She often picks up shifts at the last minute. Jo is great at making conversation with clients. One of her clients describes her as a ‘ray of sunshine!’ Jo has never met a stranger – if you see her, you will likely get a hug! Congratulations Jo and thank you for all the hard-work you provide for our clients!
Drea - May 2022 Care Pro of the Month
Our CAREGiver of the Month is Drea! Drea works with a client with Alzheimer’s. Not only do Drea and her client knit together, but she created flash cards to leave with her client every day so the client will know what to do the next morning – is it a ‘get dressed’ card or a ‘shower day’ card. Her client can follow it and knows what to expect. We are all so appreciative of all Drea does! Congratulations and Thank You, Drea!
