Anne P., Home Instead Plover, WI
Bringing a wealth of experience to Plover, Anne P is a dedicated Care Pro who understands the value of aging in place. Anne comes to us with a background in growing up on a dairy farm being my wonderful parents' 9th child of 11~ i enjoyed being active, horse back riding daily with two of my sisters and enjoying learning to be productive watching my ambitious parents working 7 days each week, no matter what the weather was. my parents retired from farming when i was a teenager and we left our country farm life, moved into the city. we had 11 horses & cattle, cats, chickens & a rope to swing on in the haymow where we stacked hay bales each summer. now we had a comfortable city home, bikes & a garage where i later raised beautiful rabbits~ i so missed my horse back riding fun & settled for bike riding, eagerly pursued babysitting jobs & dreamed of buying a horse & boarding my horse at a nice stable with a riding arena perhaps? i share this thinking how each of us experienced changes in life. as i look back at that memorable life 'chapter' i, since have had health changes, home changes never imagined,. ~ my wonderful parents nearly celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, mom went to heaven at the age of 82. my wonderful dad cried so loudly at mom's memorable life services, there was a waiting line to enter the beautiful church she & dad were 2 of the founding members of, christian life assembly of god in plymouth, back in the 1900's. :) incredibly i had a severe health change i couldn't return to employment, not certain i would recover & return to employment as a rural mail carrier at plymouth post office, i was blessed to experience why a person chooses to be a caregiver. i had the privilege to assist my lonely widowed dad. he often cried missing mom, expressing how thankful he was to have my company. i was so in awe how god makes a 'negative' into a obvious positive. i never would have been able to assist my wonderful dad if i didn't have this health change preventing my ability to daily go to work. my employment was kept , awaiting my return beautifully for me ∆ blessed by god return. i set up meals for my wonderful dad in the slow cooker' great invention. as i worked i felt an intense calling to become a caregiver, it was so fulfilling to be there for my wonderful dad who experienced many chapters in the journey of life. one i never imagined experiencing to assist him with so wonderfully.. With 6 months at Home Instead, Anne has built relationships rooted in trust, compassion, and shared joy.
For Anne, the reward is in the connection. "Being there for them any way God Blesses me to be. Knowing it's all a part of HIS PLAN," Anne shares. Through these shared moments, Anne has learned valuable life lessons, noting, "If I were wearing this totally handicapped Person 's 'shoes' how would I feel? I have THE PRIVILEGE TO ASSIST THIS PERSON. I was Blessed to recover from more than one incredible health challenge. I am BLESSED to assist those who aren't able to as I could have experienced. ❤️. My Postal Employment is not fulfilling, I get in trouble for 'taking too long on my Route, be faster!'. As my Customers say 'We have the Best Mail Carrier we ever had.'. ..when in the Office purchasing Stamps ~being a Caregiver has absolutely changed my life. Driving 60 miles daily delivering Mail has it's benefits, viewing God's beautiful creation, choosing a Christian music station singing for 5/7 hours by myself. I have had more conversations in this 6 months than probably 5 years :) being a Caregiver is absolutely Wonderful."
