Rhianna comes to us with a background in i had the opportunity to receive my cna license in 2018 through cvtc in high school. i have 6 years of experience in caregiving. i've worked at facilities, group homes with disabled adults, and now enjoy doing occasional in-home care through home instead.. With 5 months at Home Instead, Rhianna has built relationships rooted in trust, compassion, and shared joy.
For Rhianna, the reward is in the connection. "I love the connections that are built. Meeting new clients and slowly learning their story is my favorite. As a caregiver, you tend to only know what they need in this stage of life but never would have guessed what you find out about their past," Rhianna shares. Through these shared moments, Rhianna has learned valuable life lessons, noting, "Working with clients who have a Disability or Dementia, communication doesn't always have to be verbal. I was able to learn many different ways to communicate and understand them without them telling me."
Rhianna's daily goal is simple: ensure every client feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Skilled in dementia, companionship, and individuals with disabilities., Rhianna finds joy in the details of each visit. "Being able to crack jokes and have those meaningful conversations with them," Rhianna says of a typical day.
