Experienced Caregiver (CNA/HCA) – Parkinson's Care | Central Seattle

Weekend Day Shifts | Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Pay: $22.00–$32.00 per hour (depending on shift)

Home Instead Seattle is seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to support a senior client in the Central Seattle area. This is an excellent opportunity for a CNA or HCA who is confident providing hands-on care, mobility assistance, and companionship while helping a client maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

What You'll Do

As a Home Instead Care Professional, you will:

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene

  • Support ambulation, transfers, and mobility needs

  • Provide companionship and meaningful engagement

  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping

  • Accompany clients on errands and grocery shopping

  • Provide medication reminders

  • Support clients living with Parkinson's disease and related mobility challenges

  • Promote safety, comfort, and independence

  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Home Instead team

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Washington State CNA or HCA certification

  • Previous experience caring for clients with Parkinson's disease

  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance

  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient approach to caregiving

  • Ability to work 12-hour weekend shifts

  • Experienced in using Gait Belt

Preferred:

  • Experience with mobility assistance and transfers
