Isaac Schmidt

Isaac Schmidt

Franchise Owner

Growing up in Sequim, my childhood was shaped by the outdoors - days spent at Railroad Bridge Park, fishing and hunting with my dad, and summers at Lake Sutherland and Lake Crescent. Those experiences taught me patience, appreciation for simple moments, and the importance of family and community. I've always had a special place in my heart for seniors. Watching my mother care for both my great-grandmother and grandmother showed me firsthand both the challenges and the deep rewards that come with caring for others. One memory especially stays with me forever: while caring for my grandmother during her battle with dementia, she suddenly looked at me and called me "Isaac." For a brief moment, she remembered exactly who I was. My mouth hit the floor, and my heart was completely full. Just moments later, the memory faded again - but that moment of connection is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Kim Cleary

Kim Cleary

General Manager

I began my journey with Home Instead in 2016 as a caregiver, a role I truly loved because it allowed me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. From there, I transitioned into the office as a scheduler, where I continued supporting clients while building strong relationships with our caregiving team. As my experience grew, I stepped into the role of Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator, helping recruit, support, and encourage compassionate caregivers. A few years later, I became a Community Instructor, enabling our office to provide HCA training and credentialing opportunities for caregivers pursuing their professional development. Today, I'm proud to serve as the General Manager of our franchise, where I bring together the skills, knowledge, and experience I've gained over the past decade to support both our clients and our team.

Chris Lund

Chris Lund

Business Development Advisor

I've spent the past 25 years building a career in sales and marketing, with a strong focus on helping others succeed. Along the way, my wife and I owned and operated our own business for seven years—an experience that deepened my understanding of what it takes to grow, adapt, and lead. Across every role, one thing has remained constant: a commitment to supporting others and creating meaningful impact through relationships and service. Most recently, I spent the last year and a half as a live-in caregiver for my aunt and uncle—an experience that profoundly changed my path. While challenging, it reinforced the importance of patience, empathy, and being present for people when they need it most. Today, I bring that same perspective into my work with Home Instead combining my decades of experience with a genuine desire to help others.
