Amy Benson, Franchise Owner
Amy Benson began her senior care career in 1990, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a skilled nursing facility. Since that time, she has been a Staff Development assistant training new Nursing Assistants, a Unit Clerk coordinating patient care, a Staffing Coordinator creating schedules, and a Client Care Coordinator for Home Instead. Quickly realizing she had found her calling, Amy purchased her franchise in 2009. She says that while being her own boss is a dream come true, owning her own business that helps so many people is the reason she loves being a Home Instead owner. “Keeping seniors independent and living in their own homes” is her favorite way to describe what we do here at Home Instead.
Amy lives in Burlington and has been happily married to her husband Richard since 1999. They have twin daughters, Joanie and Justine, born in 2001.
Laura Beausoleil, Business Development Advisor
Laura has been with Home Instead for nearly 6 years as our Business Development Advisor. Her favorite part of her job is connecting clients with caregivers and seeing the meaningful and trusting connections they make. When she’s not working, she’s at home with her three kids and husband. Together, they love exploring the local area, homeschooling, and playing games together.
Amy Dunich, Director of Marketing
Amy has worked with Home Instead for more than a decade and just celebrated her one-year anniversary as our Director of Marketing! Her favorite part of the job is being able to talk with people, as well as hearing and sharing their stories. Her job has allowed her to meet the most amazing Care Professionals, clients, and community partners. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her 4-year-old daughter and being with her family!
April Cruikshank-Durkee, Scheduling, Hiring, & Client Care
April started in 2015 as a Care Professional with Home Instead, before transitioning into an office role in 2022 and becoming our Jane of all trades! She enjoys making others laugh, feel valued, and included. In her free time, she likes to travel with her husband Matt, taking mission trips, being active in her community, spending time in nature, camping, and cuddling with her furbabies.
Kaitlyn Fairbanks, Administrative Assistant
Kaitlyn is a recent addition to the Home Instead 717 team, working as our Mount Vernon Administrative Assistant. Her favorite part of the job is being able to help our staff and seniors. She finds the work we do to be incredibly rewarding, and she loves that she can be involved in the community through Home Instead. In her free time, she enjoys creating art as well as spending time with her cats and friends.
Maria Barriga,Care Pro Training Manager
Maria started with Home Instead as a Care Professional in 2019. She then transitioned in 2024 to an office position before becoming our Care Pro Training Manager. She enjoys helping others and being able to show other Care Professionals their full potential. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and going outside for a beach view or a nature walk.
Taytm Ronquillo, Lead Care Pro
Taytm joined Home Instead in 2025 as an Administrative Assistant, before transitioning to one of our Lead Care Pro Trainers. She enjoys being able to take the time and have the patience to connect with clients and Care Pros alike. She believes her job would not be possible without the entire Home Instead team. In her free time, she teaches kids MMA at Livewire Fitness in Sedro Woolley!
Crystal Williamsen, Lead Care Pro
Crystal recently joined our Home Instead team as one of our Lead Care Pro Trainers. Her favorite part of the job is a tie between companionship care and end of life care. She loves being able to sit and visit with her clients, while being able to bring them comfort at the end of their lives. She also loves being able to support clients’ families by letting them know they’re not alone during difficult times. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 boys, going jet skiing, hiking, and visiting her family in Utah. She enjoys reading, true crime shows, coloring, and collecting rocks and seashells from the beach.
Stephanie Hansen, Client Care Manager
Stephanie has been with Home Instead since July of 2024. She started as a Care Professional before transitioning to an office position as an Office Support Specialist and then to our current Client Care Manager. Her favorite part of the job is meeting new people and being able to support them in a time of need while hearing all of their wonderful life stories. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going outside, relaxing, and shopping!
Mary Broadhead, Client Care Coordinator
Mary joined the Home Instead team earlier this year as a Client Care Coordinator. She loves getting to advocate for and provide great care to our community, as well as getting to hear the difference we make for others. When she’s not working, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, sailing, and fishing. She loves to explore with her daughter and go on adventures.
Dajah Seidel, Service Manager
Dajah has been with Home Instead for just over a year working as our Service Manager. Her favorite part of her job is being able to build bonds with anyone she comes into contact with. She enjoys making a difference in the lives of the people we help. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, hunting for seashells, thrifting, and spending time with her friends and family. She has 4 cats and a golden retriever, spending time with them is another one of the most special things in her life.
Kris Jocson, On Call Coordinator
Kris joined our Home Instead team earlier this year and works remotely out of the Philippines as our On Call Coordinator. Kris earned a degree in business administration from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. When he's not working, Kris enjoys playing billiards and Xbox 360 games, along with watching movies. Kris also cherishes his time with his wife and kids when he is not working.
Erin Simpson, Care Pro Success Manager
Erin recently joined the Home Instead team at the end of last year. She started as an Administrative Staffing Assistant before transitioning to our Care Pro Success Manager. Her favorite part of her job is supporting caregivers in their journey of helping aging seniors in our community and making our office staff laugh. Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with her dog Daisy, cooking, and leisurely walks along the coastline.
Jillian Roney, Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator
Jillian recently joined the Home Instead team earlier this year as a Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. She enjoys uplifting others and showing people how meaningful caregiving can be. In her free time, she can be found reading comic books, watching hockey, crocheting, or hanging out with her cat Stevie.
