I cannot say enough wonderful things about Home Instead and the care they have provided for my father-in-law. We hired Home Instead to provide one-on-one care for him at his memory care facility after a serious infection and back-to-back hospital stays left him extremely weak and at significant risk of falling. Their caregivers have quite literally changed the course of his recovery. The difference in his care has been extraordinary. Their caregivers are kind, attentive, patient, and genuinely engaged. On at least five separate occasions, they have prevented him from falling when he tried to get up without assistance. Because of his memory issues, he doesn't always remember that he is weak or needs help, so having someone there who is truly paying attention has been invaluable. But what impressed us most may have actually saved his life. One of his Home Instead caregivers noticed that the medications he was being given by the facility did not match the medication list I had provided after his hospital discharge. She brought it to our attention, which led us to discover that the memory care facility had not properly updated his medication list following his hospitalization. We feel very strongly that her attention to detail and willingness to speak up prevented what could have been a very serious outcome. The communication and technology are also outstanding. Their online portal allows our family to see his care minute by minute, including the caregiver's assigned tasks and what has been completed. We can add appointments and to-do items so caregivers know when he has physical therapy or a doctor's appointment and can plan ahead for things like bathing, dressing, and getting him ready. It gives us a level of visibility and peace of mind that we simply did not have before. Lizzie, the director, is exceptional. She communicates consistently, responds quickly, and is incredibly on top of every detail. We never feel like we are trying to chase someone down or wondering whether something has been handled. Home Instead has improved my father-in-law's recovery care beyond what I can adequately put into words. They aren't simply "sitting with" him. They are observing, protecting, communicating, advocating, and actively participating in his recovery. If you have a loved one who needs additional support in assisted living, memory care, after a hospitalization, or during a period of increased fall risk, I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough. Hiring them is one of the best decisions our family has made for his care.

The CarePros are very professional, reliable, experienced, and kind. The office staff answered our many questions with patience, which we truly appreciate. We chose Home Instead based on a positive experience from a friend, and when we compared to other agencies, we liked the flexibility of their pay structure. We also appreciate the app, which is informative and allows us to stay in communication.

Robin Nichols was assigned to care for our Mom in our home 3 days a week, M,W,F. for 4 hours each of those mornings for over a year. She's a wonderful caregiver and became like a member of our family. She protected my mom from falling, fixed her breakfast and lunch, was so extremely patient with her in conversations when my mom's hearing wasn't easy. We truly appreciated her kindnesses to our mom and she was so alert to her moods and health changes and informed us of anything that needed to be addressed. I cannot speak highly enough of Home Instead and any substitution if Robin was out for any reason which was few times and far between. Thank you Robin and Home Instead!

We were extremely impressed with the professionalism of the staff at Home Instead from our very first contact and throughout our relationship. Most impressive was Winnie, who helped my wife recoup from a serious illness. Winnie is a kind, thoughtful, proficient caregiver who helped us transition to the point that my wife has become fairly independent. Our friends and family who visited were similarly impressed.Winnie cared for my wife and tended to her needs while keeping our home neat etc. in short we looked forward to her arrival and consider ourselves fortunate to have had Winnie as our caregiver.
