Home Instead is URGENTLY HIRING an experienced Caregiver for a client in East Austin!

We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and engaging Caregiver who has previous experience working with clients with Alzheimer's disease or dementia.

This is a companionship-only position. Our client needs someone who will be present, interactive, and genuinely engaged throughout the shift. We are looking for a Caregiver who enjoys conversation, building relationships, and helping clients stay socially and mentally engaged.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 1:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Consistent weekday schedule

Pay

$18–$20 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Engage the client in conversation and appropriate activities
• Provide encouragement and a reassuring presence
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Build a positive, trusting relationship with the client

Qualifications

• Alzheimer's and/or dementia care experience required
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Dependable and punctual
• Patient, compassionate, and attentive
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must enjoy actively engaging with clients
