Lead Care Professional

Are you an experienced caregiver who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional care? Home Instead is seeking a Full-Time Lead Care Pro to provide high-quality care to a variety of clients while serving as a dependable, adaptable member of our caregiving team.

As a Lead Care Pro, you will be assigned to clients with a wide range of care needs and must be comfortable stepping into new environments, adjusting to changing schedules, and providing compassionate, professional care wherever needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
• Support safe transfers, mobility assistance, and use of assistive equipment
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and assist with errands
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities
• Deliver specialized care for clients living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
• Support clients and families through end-of-life care with dignity and compassion
• Adapt quickly to different client needs, care plans, and home environments

What We're Looking For:

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Experience providing hands-on personal care
• Knowledge and experience using gait belts, transfer equipment, and other assistive devices
• Experience caring for clients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia-related behaviors, and cognitive impairments
• Experience supporting clients receiving hospice or end-of-life care
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations as needed
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, professional, and adaptable attitude
