Prior to purchasing Home Instead Senior Care in West Chester, PA in 2007, Phil managed the Home Instead Senior Care office in Trooper, PA and managed field operations in the West Chester Office. Before joining Home Instead Senior Care in 2003 phil was an on-air personality at WCOJ a local radio station in West Chester where he anchored and reported on Chester County news. Phil started working at the age of 12 as a coat check boy at his uncle's restaurant business through high school, college, and beyond. This work experience is where Phil believes he developed an understanding for customer service, a key component to the success of Home Instead Senior Care. He has a pre-med degree from West Chester University and is a graduate of Bishop Shanahan as well as St. Joseph's in Downingtown. Phil has two children, a son Chase and a daughter Emma. You can hear Phil alongside co-host Janet Colliton on their radio show "50 Plus Planning Ahead on 1520 WCHE Wednesdays 4:30 to 5:00pm. As a lifetime native of Chester County he enjoys giving back to the community through the Greater West Chester Area Sunrise Rotary Club, where he is Vice President.

Karen was born and raised in Chester County. Karen joined Home Instead Senior Care in September of 2017 as an Administrative Assistant. Karen brings 30 years of Post-Secondary Proprietary School Administrative experience to the position, along with long history of customer service training experience. She enjoys gardening, working at the theater in West Chester, and spending time with her children and four grandchildren. Karen looks forward to working in an environment that provides care for seniors and enriches their lives.

Bill was born and raised on a dairy farm in Delaware County, attended and graduated from West Chester University. Among other things, Bill taught English and coached baseball, and he teaches couples how to dance on a nightly basis. Bill's favorite things include family, golf, dance, and of course the work he does for Home Instead Senior Care. As one of our Community Service Representatives, Bill spends his time meeting with families and potential clients to discuss their needs and what care they would like to see their loved ones receive.

Shannon was born and raised in Delaware County. After graduating from Upper Darby High School, Shannon went on to study at Cabrini College. She joined Home Instead Senior Care in April 2013. Shannon, her husband Gary, and their two sons always enjoy spending time together as a family. "It is rewarding to be able to provide assistance to families and provide care for their loved ones. I look forward to everyday here at Home Instead Senior Care."

Capri was born and raised in Chester County. She is the proud mother of her two beautiful children. Capri was a former CAREGiver for Home Instead Senior Care and in 2017 joined the office staff as a full time Client Care Coordinator. Capri brings with her 5 years of hands on experience in the health care industry and loves to help those who are in need.

Lilyana was born and raised in Chester County. She is currently enrolled in College. In High School Lilyana worked as her neighborhood babysitter and dog walker. She also volunteered in the summer at a camp she used to attend teaching kids how to dance. Lilyana enjoys reading, playing games and spending time with her family and pets.

Rich and Sue Sussman are our after hours Phone Supervisors. They have been with Home Instead Senior Care for 12 years now, both starting at CAREGivers, then assisting the office with after hours phone coverage. Rich and Sue supervise the after hours phones weeknights, every third weekend and some holidays. Rich and Sue live in Downingtown, and have a daughter who was adopted from China. They enjoy their two dogs, biking, going to Cape May, NJ and being with their extended family.

Shanira was born and raised in Chester County. After high school she went to college at California University of PA near Pittsburgh. Shanira enjoys traveling and adventuring into new experiences. In her free time she enjoys cooking, spending time with her niece, and being around her family.
