Denise Bustos

Denise Bustos

CEO/Franchise Owner

I am the Franchise Owner of Revere Care, Inc. dba Home Instead along with my wonderful husband, George Bustos. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. For 10 years I worked in the Entertainment Industry. (Fun fact: My first job was as an Administrative Assistant for the producers of "The Simpsons") I was in Administrative Management for two Local television stations and ended my career at Sony Music Corporation as a Controller of Promotions to take care of my growing family. We moved out of the state of California to the suburbs of Chandler, Arizona. After a few years of desert fun, George was transferred to the gorgeous state of North Carolina where we have resided in the country for the past 13 years. For twenty years I homeschooled 3 of my 4 children and became a certified Health Coach. In my career as a Health Coach, I fell in love with my Senior community. They were so appreciative of my services and I noticed how much they longed for companionship and care. As time progressed, George and I, knew that we were entering the empty nest stage. We wanted to do something that would impact our community, a needed service. The day I heard about Home Instead Senior Care; I knew instantly that was our long-awaited answered prayer. I became a CAREGiver for several months and again, my love and passion were confirmed…I LOVE the Senior community and I LOVE the service of CAREGiving. George and I became owners in March of 2020, what we call "The Covid Month". To many, it may have seemed like the worse time to start a business, but to us…the timing was perfect, the need was greater, and we were ready to stand up for the challenge of what we believe with all our heart, was exactly what we were called to do.

Tanya Tennant

Tanya Tennant

RN

I am from a little town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which is where I met and married my husband, who was my high school sweetheart. We decided to move to North Carolina in 1992 and have been here ever since. While growing up, there were two things that I knew I wanted to accomplish in life, and that was being a mother and a nurse. I began my nursing journey at a mental health facility, where I gained ten years of experience as a psychiatric nurse. I then ran the medical department of Goodwill industries in Winston Salem. I worked there for five years until it came to an end due to the department shutting down. This opened up the opportunity to raise my children and be a full time mom. Once my children grew into adulthood, I reopened the door to my nursing career and found Senior Services of Forsyth County. I was a registered nurse there for five and a half years, which is where I found my passion for caring for older adults so that they are able to remain in the comfort of their homes. When looking for another part time job, God led me to Home Instead which is now my forever home. While working here, I am able to explore my passion for teaching by training the new caregivers who join our work family. I also have the privilege to work with clients and their families to develop a personalized plan of care, so that we are able to fulfill their expectations. Being employed here has shown me that you will never work a day in your life if you do what you love. When I come home from work and my husband asks me how work was, I always reply with work? I got to talk to many lovely families today.
