Jennifer has been incredible. Her background in senior care shows with the way she engages and cares for my mother. We are beyond thankful for her.

My husband was recently discharged from a rehabilitation center to continue recovering at home. He was able to walk short distances on a walker only under supervision. Home Instead’s worker, Pa, was very helpful in doing many things for us such as fixing his breakfast and lunch, keeping the laundry up to date, keeping the kitchen clean, changing the bed linens, letting our dogs out and back in, etc., etc. It would have been difficult to keep up with all that while still staying behind my husband whenever he wanted to move around. Our helper, Pa, did all those necessary things and was also great company and while doing them. She was a pleasure to be around and we became very fond of her.

My mother receives outstanding care from her caregivers each evening.Adriana, Myra and Dixie give her undivided attention and provide for her needs as well as wonderful conversation and time for card games! She now has a regular bedtime, better sleep and overall brighter days! The office staff including Averi, Allison and Hayley communicate updates and respond to any changes my mother and I need. We are so happy to have HomeInstead supporting our family with professional and competent care.

Donna Christie, my CNA since the beginning of when I moved to North Carolina in 2024, stands out from the rest. She is timely, dedicated and very experienced with the Hoyer Lift she uses daily. Her knowledge in the field of caregiving is just what I need and still do. I have Multiple Sclerosis. Thank you. Randy Bergstrom, Hickory, NC

My mom is so lucky to have Destiny as her Caregiver. Destiny comes in and helps Mom with daily needs 4 hours each week day. She helps Mom with coffee, laundry, makes lunch, and designs menus for each meal. She helps with making sure Mom has what she needs for her neck pain and takes her to nearby haircuts and monthly church luncheons. Destiny has been a lifesaver for my brother and I. Mom is happy for the help and companionship. Thanks Destiny and Home Instead.

The local team has served these communities for more than 25 years. Registered Nurses help develop and supervise personalized plans, while Care Pros support the routines that help an older adult remain connected to home and community life.
Changes in bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, medication routines, housekeeping, or social connection can signal that extra support would make daily life safer and less stressful.
Start with a conversation about what feels harder, what the older adult wants to keep doing, and where family support is stretched. A care consultation can turn those observations into a practical plan that can change as needs change.
