Stephen Lair is a Home Instead multi-unit franchise with operations throughout North Carolina and Texas. He was selected as a member of the E.A. Morris Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in 2009 and was twice chosen as one of WCHL's Hometown Hero Village Pride Award recipients. As an Eagle Scout, Stephen has always had a passion for the outdoors and is heavily involved as a leader with the local Boy Scouts of America. Stephen has served as host for a variety of local events such as the Alzheimer's Walk, the National Parkinsons Foundation's Moving Day and Wreaths Across America. Stephen is also a highly sought after speaker, singer, emcee and auctioneer. As a local expert on aging, Stephen has made appearances on Time Warner Cable News, WCHL, UNCTV, WNCN, WCHL and iHeartradio. Stephen and his wife, Cher, have seven remarkable sons and one incredible daughter: Jackson, Campbell, Sawyer, Houston, Shepherd, Knox, Fisher and Ruby.

As President of Lair Family Enterprises, Hunter is dedicated to leading and growing our organization to make a profound impact on people's lives. With 20 years of experience in the service sector-including a tenure where he helped scale a family business tenfold-Hunter brings a strategic yet heart-centered approach to Home Instead's operations in North Carolina and Texas. He is passionate about applying his expertise to ensure that more families have access to the dignity and world-class care they deserve. Hunter's roots in leadership began early as an Eagle Scout and as a student-athlete on the University of Tennessee Men's Swim Team. Today, he pours that same energy into the local community, serving as Board President for the Faith Builders Carolinas Raleigh Chapter and volunteering his time with USA Swimming and The Summit Church. For Hunter, his faith in Jesus is the compass for his life, driving a personal mission to simply love people well. A resident of Apex, Hunter enjoys a busy and blessed household with his wife of 17 years (who is also named Hunter) and their three children: Eloise, Cecelia, and Waylon.

As Regional Care Manager, Carmen conducts an orchestra of client concierges who can be found in any number of locations from one day to the next. With more than 20 years of experience, Carmen draws on her faith and her experience as a member of a military family in every facet of the work she undertakes at Home Instead.
