Andie Gomez transitioned to Director, Enterprise VA Operations in May 2026, marking her seventh year with Home Instead. Following three years as General Manager supporting local teams and families, she now leverages her long-term care background to lead strategy, compliance, and execution for Veteran Affairs (VA) operations across all locations. As a dedicated educator and advocate, Andie listens closely to community needs. "Mu ultimate passion is connecting veterans and their families with valuable, often overlooked care benefits, putting their minds at ease while ensuring they receive high-quality, dignified care at home."

As our HR Manager, Toni oversees the day-to-day functions of the Scheduling and Recruiting and Retention Departments. She is responsible for ensuring that our Care Professionals have the resources they need to provide exceptional care to our clients. She inspires Care Pros, provides moral support, and reinforces Home Instead's policies and procedures. She leads our teams with kindness, confidence and composure. Working at Home Instead has given me the opportunity to fulfill my passion to care for older adults and support the Care Professionals who take care of them every day.

As part of the Recruiting and Retention team, Jackie is responsible for recruiting new, wonderful Care Professionals and beginning the onboarding process. She has been committed to creating an exceptional team that truly cares for our seniors as if they were family. Beginning as a Care Professional in 2003 with Home Instead Charlotte she knows what it takes to share your heart to your client. She is known by all of us as a gentle soul with a kind smile. ​ Jackie explains how getting to know others who are passionate about caretaking is one of her favorite parts of her job."I get the opportunity to meet many applicants looking to become Home Instead Care Pros. They share their stories and express their passions and desires to care for others. Many of them never realized that they were already caregivers. As Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator, Cassandra uses her previous experience as a Home Instead Care Professional to onboard and train new talented Care Pros. Cassandra came to Home Instead in 2009 where she was a Care Pro in the field for many years. Her kindness and giving heart made her the perfect fit for the office. She spends her days finding and getting to know prospective Care Pros. She focuses on bringing in qualified individuals that will share their hearts and give their very best to our clients and their families. As the Director of Client Care, Karen says this is her dream job because she loves working with clients, families and our Care Professionals to help older adults thrive in their homes. She joined the Home Instead Charlotte franchise in 2006 and has remained devoted to our mission ever since. Karen's kind heart and infectious laugh make her impossible to forget. She is truly loved by everyone who meets her. Karen describes how fulfilling her role as the Director of Client Care - "One of the most gratifying aspects of my job is being a witness to the incredible long-term friendships that develop between a client and Care Professional."

Consuelo began her Home Instead career in 2010 as a CAREGiver and quickly became a favorite in Clients' homes. Now as a Client Care Coordinator, with her immeasurable experience, professionalism, and kindness, she spends time with clients in different role. Consuelo meets with potential clients and their families to share information about Home Instead's services. Once on board, she regularly connects with them to ensure that they are receiving exceptional care. She loves bringing peace of mind to her clients, their family members, and friends. Consuelo is always there to help them celebrate the good times as well as to face and work through the challenging ones with grace and dignity.

Client Care Advisor, Lead Care Professional

Like many of our office team members, Janice started her Home Instead career in 2012, in a Client's home as a CAREGiver. As our home care family expanded over Mecklenburg County, we needed an exceptional Lead Care Professional who could introduce new Care Pros to clients and provide additional training in the field. Leadership agreed that with her experience and personality, she would be an ideal fit. Shortly after, Janice took on the dual role of a Client Care Coordinator as well. Her main duties include quality assurance visits which ensure services are meeting the needs of clients, in-home introductions to cultivate great Care Pro and client relationships, and coordinating care for new clients.

Registered Nurse Supervisor

As an RN Supervisor, Diane wears many fabulous hats. She has a wealth of knowledge, expertise in her field, and allows Home Instead to meet State standards, through her detailed assessments and evaluations of our new clients coming on board as well as through regular visits with our long-term clients. Additionally, she evaluates the skills of all Care Professionals as they join our team and on a yearly basis. She has even taken over the grand task of presenting Home Instead's specialized Alzheimer's training to our admin staff and Care Pros to ensure we are providing the best service possible to our clients. Diane's impeccable attitude and support to the team is invaluable! "It is a pleasure to work with a group of people who care about each other and the clients we take care of !!!!?
