Part Time - Clinical Supervisor - Nurse (RN/LPN)

Job Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor plays a strategic role in driving business growth and expanding market presence through the quality of our care. This position focuses on building and nurturing strong relationships between our clients and their families, our Care Professionals, and community providers to increase quality of care and retention of cases. You will be responsible for performing assessments and quality assurance visits to identify client needs, family support, safety of the home and supporting new starts of care when needed.
This is a high-impact, field-based role requiring a strong blend of strategic thinking, relationship-building, and leadership. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with clinical experience, a strategic mindset, and a passion for improving the lives of aging adults. The immediate need is very part time but the ideal candidate will be able to grow with the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management & Community Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and referral sources, including hospitals, clinics, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, and physicians.
- Represent Home Instead at industry events, health fairs, professional conferences, and community meetings as needed.
- VA Nursing Assessments:
- Schedule and conduct initial in-home assessments for VA-authorized clients.
- Evaluate client condition, safety risks, and care needs.
- Develop and update individualized care plans.
- Coordinate starts of care with office staff.
- Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with leadership to create and implement a cadence of quality assurance visits to keep and grow client hours.
- Adapt cadence of visits based on changing client needs and the need for updated care plans.
- Educate appropriate community providers on our care plan, Home Instead’s value proposition and the scope of our services.
- Request reviews from clients and family members when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of visits in scheduling software.
- Update relevant Care Professionals on critical updates to client care plans in scheduling software.
- Collaborative Planning & Implementation:
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Client Care Team/Scheduling Team to follow up with clients to maintain and grow care hours.
- Partner with care coordinators and client service coordinators to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.
- Build strategic partnerships with community organizations and industry stakeholders to strengthen market presence.
- Provide oversight of Care Professionals and provide input and direction as needed
- Conduct training to Care Professionals as needed - Personal Care, Alzheimer’s Care, Specialized Care, etc.
- Consultative Sales & Client Support:
- Provide feedback on market trends and business development opportunities to internal teams.
- Compliance & Ethical Conduct:
- Reflect the core values of Edward Wingfield LLC, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise).
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Align client care strategies with overall business objectives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the franchise owner, office colleagues, Care Professionals and the community
- Must have the ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be patient and congenial
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in Excel and Word
- Must have the ability to work as a part of a team
- Ability to operate independently and manage a high level of field-based activity.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home care, hospice, senior living, or home health sales.
- Knowledge of Medicare, VA, and private pay home care services.
- Existing relationships with local healthcare providers and senior living communities.
- Experience working with healthcare referral sources.
