Owner

Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University. In addition to serving eight years in the Nebraska Army National Guard as a Medical NCO, he spent 15 years in various senior and executive level marketing and advertising positions. His passion for seniors and desire to own his own business led him to change careers and relocate his family to SW Missouri. Chris became a Home Instead franchise owner in 2010, with the purchase of the Springfield and Branson locations. Chris is committed to making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families. Personal experiences with family members motivates him to create an environment where quality is first with clients, CAREGivers, and the community. Chris and his wife Andrea have four boys, Ben, William, Dawson and Gavin. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his son's athletic teams, hunting, fishing and anything that involves the outdoors.

S ince acquiring Home Instead in 2010, Chris and Andrea have dreamed of operating their family business together . After 17 years in education , Andrea changed careers and joined Chris full-time at Home Instead . Andrea has a BS in Elem entary Ed and a MS in Curriculum & Instruction . She has taught grades K, 1, 2, 4, Gifted Ed, & served on a staff development literacy team. Andrea published her first children's book in 2020 . Andrea has a passion for training and equipping our CAREGivers with the knowledge and skills needed to do the important work of helping people age with dignity and respect . In addition, she enjoys developing creative activities and programs that foster engagement between our CAREGivers and their clients. As a mother of four sons , Andrea love s to be out doors. She enjoys boating , travel, play ing games, watching movies and leading 9th grade girls at church. She can never spend enough time with the family's two dogs, Boomer and Bailey. She looks forward to a lifetime of celebrating the joy of taking care of seniors and training those who make staying home a reality for your loved ones.

Client Care Coordinator

Ashley studied Religious Studies, History and Education at Missouri State University. Before joining Home Instead, Ashley worked for 10 years at two companies dedicated to serving individuals ages with cognitive, physical, mental and emotional disabilities. In addition, Ashley served on the ministry staff at her local church for 11 years. Ashley became a Home Instead CAREGiver January 2019, then joined the office in a part time capacity in March, before ultimately accepting a full-time position with Home Instead as the Client Care Coordinator. Ashley works directly with our clients, their families and our CAREGivers to ensure we are delivering the highest level of care. She performs CAREGiver introductions and conducts regular Quality Assurance visits to make certain that care plans are up-to-date and the expectations and needs of each client and their family are being met. Personal experiences with family, friends, church members, clients, and strangers motivate her to treat each person as an individual worthy of dignity, respect and the love of Jesus Christ. Ashley loves spending free time with her five nieces and nephews, playing board games and watching movies. Ashley is always up for an adventure and likes to entertain.

Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

Monnica began her journey with the Springfield Home Instead office in October 2022. As the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator, Monnica manages the CAREGiver hiring process. She screens all potential CAREGivers, conducts interviews, oversees background and reference checks, makes employment decisions, and provides new employee orientation and follow-up training. Monnica has amazing insight when it comes to hiring compassionate, trustworthy individuals, and understanding the needs of each CAREGiver. Her goal is to recruit, retain and train the best CAREGivers in SW Missouri to ensure we deliver quality care for your loved one. Monnica is married to Dustin and they have 4 kids, Isaac, Ari, Lucy and Sam. The whole family enjoys camping, road trips, making music together, and being involved at their church.

Abbey Dirigo

Service Coordinator

Abbey began her journey as the Service Coordinator at the Springfield, Missouri Home Instead office in December of 2025. She oversees scheduling and focuses on thoughtfully matching caregivers with clients to ensure the best possible care. She bring three years of prior experience from the Columbia, Mo Home Instead office, where she supported both scheduling and client care, giving her a strong understanding of the needs of seniors and their families.

Home Care Consultant

Alicia graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a degree in marketing and has a wealth of experience having worked in home health, hospice, durable medical equipment and in a variety of care communities. As a Home Care Consultant, Alicia is tasked with building relationships in the community. Alicia has an enormous passion for helping seniors find solutions to their needs so they can remain in the comfort of their homes. This makes her the perfect person to educate people about the services Home Instead offers. She works with the rest of the team to identify community resources for our existing and future clients. You'll see her out and about town as she spreads the word about home care and strengthens our relationships with other providers. Alicia has been blessed with two amazing sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law and a granddaughter named Brynlie. She is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and also enjoys hiking, walking, jogging and traveling.

Office Assistant

Beth joined the Home Instead team with a genuine passion for service and more than 28 years of administrative experience. She holds a degree in Criminal Justice and spent many years with the Department of Mental Health, where she developed a strong foundation in organization, communication, and day-to-day operations. Known for her reliability, attention to detail, and caring approach, Beth plays a key role in keeping the office running smoothly while supporting caregivers and staff.

Kim Flatt

On Call Supervisor

Kim started her journey with Home Instead as a CAREGiver in the Lincoln, Nebraska office where she worked for 9 years. Upon relocating to Springfield Kim worked as a CAREGiver in our office for one year before taking on the responsibility of On Call Coordinator. Kim is the friendly voice on the other end of the phone in the evenings and over the weekend when the office is closed. Kim is available to answer questions, staff shifts or to triage calls. Kim loves working at Home Instead and has always had a heart for seniors, especially those in need. Kim is married and has 4 children. Her 5 grandbabies are the love of her life. grandchild on the way. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. She's also very active in her church, helping others that can't drive and doing missions in our local community and elsewhere.
