Ben and Sue Myers

Ben and Sue Myers

Owners

Ben and Sue Myers are the proud owners of the Farmington Hills office which has been serving seniors in the Southwest Oakland County area for over 25 years. After much prayer, the Lord opened doors for this unique opportunity for them to serve. Their parents are still living, and it is through the care and compassion of others serving them, that they see the need for and embrace this work of service. They raised their three children in Michigan, and their children are raising their six grandchildren here as well. Having recently retired from their positions as an engineer and an educator, they feel completely ready for this challenge as they hope to reach out to a community where mercy and care are exemplified with each visit, because it IS personal to them.

Tonee Garrett

Tonee Garrett

Human Resources Manager

Tonee joined the HISC team in August of 2019. Her professional journey in home care began in 2001 straight out of high school where she has worked in various capacities within homecare. Working in this field was an easy decision for her due to watching her grandmother have homecare, and at only 16 years old, caring for her grandfather who had pancreatic cancer. Throughout her life she has taken on the role as caretaker for many of her loved ones. She attributes this dedication for her loved ones to values instilled in her from the women in her life. As a result of her empathic nature, you will often find Tonee sharing her personal experiences to bring comfort to clients and caregivers, leaving them with her tag line "Don't worry, it will work out".

Michelle Romeos

Michelle Romeos

Scheduling Coordinator

I have been blessed to work in senior care for over 30 years, including 12 years at Home Instead Senior Care where I've held roles in HR, hands-on training, field supervision, and scheduling. Before that, I spent 12 years at Canterbury on the Lake as a caregiver and in other supportive roles. I love being able to use my experience to help seniors and support the amazing teams I work with. I am a proud mom of seven and grandma to four amazing grandkids. My family and I serve faithfully in our church, and my faith in Jesus and love for family inspire me every day to serve others with kindness, patience, and compassion.
