Before joining Home Instead, Vin served as CEO of Espresso Royale in Ann Arbor and as Worldwide President of Borders Books & Music. He is the proud father of five children and enjoys spending time with his family, walking, being outdoors, and cheering on the Michigan Wolverines and New York Yankees.

Samantha joined Home Instead in January 2024. She oversees client coordination, CAREPro hiring, onboarding and orientation, as well as payroll administration. Her position allows her to build meaningful relationships with seniors, their families, and CAREPros, ensuring clients receive the compassionate, dependable care they deserve. Samantha’s passion for serving others is rooted in her personal experiences and time in the United States Navy, where she developed a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, compassion, and dedication. She is grateful to have a career that brings together her love of helping people with her experience in leadership, communication, and service. Samantha’s greatest joy is being a mom to her four children. She enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, hiking, and making memories with her family.

Melany joined Home Instead in July 2026 and is responsible for matching clients with the right CAREPros and scheduling services. Her strong interpersonal skills help put clients at ease while ensuring CAREPros feel valued and understood. She also maintains scheduling records and documentation and identifies opportunities to strengthen service delivery. Melany brings a diverse background in customer service, scheduling, education, and home care, making her well suited to her role. Her experience as a home care provider gives her firsthand understanding of the importance of dependable scheduling, confidentiality, and compassionate communication. Melany is the proud mother of five children and a giddy grandmother of two little ones. She finds joy in spending time with her children, reading, going for walks, and spending time with friends and family.

Joyce joined the Home Instead team in 2012 as a CAREPro and progressed into the role of Client Coordinator. She currently oversees the agency’s monthly billing and invoicing. Joyce earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Calvin College and was recently relicensed as a registered nurse. Before joining Home Instead, she worked as a personal trainer and owned a women’s gym. Her work at Home Instead brings together her lifelong commitment to wellness, healthcare, and helping others. Joyce is married to her best friend and is the proud mother of three children and grandmother of two. She loves spending time with her family and running with her Labrador, Dutch. An enthusiastic runner, Joyce can often be found competing in races throughout the Grand Rapids area.

Chelsea joined Home Instead in December 2022, where she most recently served as Client Care Manager. During her time with Home Instead, Chelsea achieved her dream of becoming a nurse, graduating in May 2026. She is now a Registered Nurse at University of Michigan Health-West and continues to serve as a part-time advisor to Home Instead. For Chelsea, working with seniors means meeting people where they are and helping them achieve the best quality of life possible. Before joining Home Instead, she gained valuable experience in the administration and management of assisted living communities. Chelsea is recently engaged and looking forward to a May wedding. Outside of work, she adores her dog, Tucker, and enjoys playing euchre, singing karaoke, and spending time with family and friends.
