Glenna Yaroch

Owner

Glenna attended Mercy High School and then became a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Glenna pursued her education further with a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurial Management from Davenport University. Glenna worked for 15 years as a licensed physical therapist before opening Home Instead Senior Care. Glenna opened Home Instead in June 2002 after personally experiencing the challenges faced by her own family providing care for 2 grandparents with Alzheimer's disease. Glenna's medical background gave her the insight to identify other needs of families outside of the medical model of care that families struggle with. She also uses her medical background to serve on the Professional Advisory Board for the Michigan Parkinson Foundation. Glenna has a true sense of meeting seniors' needs by assisting them with tasks in their home that have become challenging and frustrating. Glenna believes that, "with a little help from a friend, seniors can live with pride and dignity in the comfort of their own home."
