Having many years of management experience in the healthcare field in various settings including, hospitals, hospice care, and nursing homes, prepared me well for my long-lasting journey of working with seniors at Home Instead since 2008. My degree in nurse-midwifery definitely helped me to grasp the whole concept of seniors' needs as well as respect for the spectrum of human life. I have a sincere passion for enhancing the lives of seniors and creating caring environments for them to live out the rest of their life journey. I enjoy communicating across teams with healthcare professionals, families, and staff to enhance the care of our clients and adjust care plans as needed. I like to think of myself as an outside-the-box thinker who finds creative ways to meet the needs of our seniors and their loved ones, with the goal of having a positive impact on their lives. My personal mission since I was a young adult: Every day, make a conscious choice to be better than yesterday and be able to touch as many hearts as possible before my last day on the Earth.
