Brenda Mellor, CDP, CNA, HHA, Director of Operations
Brenda has been with Home Instead since 2013, first as Staff Coordinator and more recently as Director of Operations. With years of Home Health Aid experience, having cared for her own parents, and her previous work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, Brenda understands the importance of seniors having a voice in their own care whenever possible, and the need for an advocate when they are unable to speak for themselves. With a genuine love for seniors, Brenda strives to ensure that the care provided by Home Instead is nothing short of wonderful.
Having recently become a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Brenda aims to help educate the public on Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Alison Otis Uzoma, Office Manager
Alison helped launch the office in September 2008. She came from a background in nutrition research and healthcare communications. Alison spent many years as a caregiver to her grandmother who taught her how to sew, swim laps, balance a checkbook, and love New England landscapes, among many other things. These experiences motivate her work helping seniors and their families find trusted care to stay safe and well at home.
Cindy Paille, Recruitment and Engagment Coordinator
Cindy came to Home Instead in 2015 with over 20 years’ experience in the home care field. She received her CNA certification in 1991. Her extensive background helps her look for qualified and caring CAREGivers. She wants to hire people who she would want to care for her own family. Cindy also got her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, where one of her most compelling classes was about elderly patients and what they go through as they age.
Liisa Salmi, Client Care Advisor
Dawn Leonard, Scheduling Coordinator
Wanda Frazier, Administrative Assistant
Wanda, having a passion for helping others, came to Home Instead as a Care Professional in 2021. Her professionalism and kindness quickly made her a favorite of each of the clients she worked with. When circumstances prevented Wanda from working in the field, we jumped on the opportunity to bring her into our office, and offered her the role of Administrative Assistant, which she eagerly accepted. Wanda has enjoyed her position, learning more about the business, and forming great relationships with our Care Professionals. Wanda’s engaging personality & friendly demeanor have made her a favorite of all who meet her. Having a talent for baking and cooking, another passion, Wanda often surprises our team with freshly baked cakes that are out of this world.
Pharah Dubuisson-Lefevre, On-Call Service Supervisor
Elisabeth Lowman
My caregiving journey began in 1990, when I cared for my grandmother who was living with dementia. New to caregiving and without prior experience, I navigated that role through many successes and lessons learned. When she passed in 1993, those experiences inspired me to pursue a career in the professional caregiving field.
Over the years, I have served in many roles within the industry, including Caregiver, Scheduling Coordinator, and Director of Human Resources and Operations. From the very beginning, my focus has always been on providing the highest quality of care possible. This commitment led me to obtain my Home Health Aide certification, pursue advanced certifications in Hospice and Advanced Comorbidities, and become a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
When I later transitioned into Sales and Marketing, it was driven by a deep desire to help individuals—like my grandmother—age safely and comfortably in the place they call home.
