Owner

Bill is a serial entrepreneur and Home Instead is the 3rd company he has owned. Having gone through numerous health issues with his parents, he recognized the immense opportunity and developed a passion to help seniors and their families through owning a senior care agency. Working with great staff and care professionals, he helps to enhance people’s lives every day by allowing them to stay home. Bill does a lot of work for charities and is also the President of the Home Instead Franchisee Association, as well as holding a board seat on the Coalition of Franchisee Association. Bill is married with two children, three grandchildren, and enjoys cycling, skiing, exercising, and spending time with his family in his spare time.

Judy Mishkin

Owner/Assistant Director of Scheduling

Judy, Bill’s wife, is pleased to join the home office staff as part of the management team, assisting in staffing and scheduling coordination, customer service, and administrative support. She attended undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where she earned degrees in English, French, and a Masters in Secondary Education. After a 30-year career in public education as a middle and high school French, Spanish and English teacher, Judy has transitioned into her current role at Home Instead. She is thrilled to be part of her Home Instead “family,” collaborating with staff and care professionals. Like so many others, she has personal experience with the wonderful home care her parents received with compassionate, skilled carepros. Judy enjoys an active lifestyle: cycling, skiing, exercising, and spending time with her family.

Chief Operating Officer

Wendy joined Home Instead in 2010, bringing a diverse background in Operations, Purchasing, and Project Management. She is passionate about supporting the aging population and helping seniors remain safely and independently in their own homes. Throughout her tenure with Home Instead, Wendy has held several positions, giving her a well-rounded perspective and a broad understanding of the business. She brings strong leadership experience, along with expertise in finance, metrics, and analytics. Outside of work, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family, reading and trips to the beach.

Joanne Anastasiades

Director of Scheduling

Joanne brings considerable experience in staff management, customer service, and administrative support. Prior to joining Home Instead Senior Care, Joanne held supervisory positions in management consulting, education, and retail. She has also taken an active role in the healthcare plan for elders within her immediate family. Joanne supervises our staff of caregivers and manages all client schedules. Her tireless passion for taking care of people, along with her gift of patience and ability to maintain a calm demeanor is exhibited everyday at Home Instead. When Joanne is not working or fulfilling her on-call supervisory duties, she enjoys cooking for (and with) her family, entertaining friends and taking well-deserved beach vacations.

Recruitment and Retention Coordinator

Catherine joined Home instead in 2016. She became interested in becoming a Caregiver after caring for her grandmother who suffered from dementia. During her time with Home Instead, she has transitioned to Lead Caregiver and has become an integral part of the office staff. Catherine has a degree in Drafting and Design as well as Medical Billing and Coding. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her 2 daughters and their love for all Disney things.

Community Nurse Liaison

Meet Lora Lora joined Home Instead as a Community Liaison Nurse in February 2021, bringing more than 40 years of experience and a heartfelt passion for caring for older adults. Her healthcare journey began as a CNA and grew into a nursing career focused on geriatric care and advocacy. At Home Instead, Lora provides free assessments, develops personalized care plans, and helps connect families with caregivers who are the right fit—because she believes care should feel personal, not clinical. She partners closely with clients, families, and community resources to ensure seniors feel supported, respected, and safe in the place they call home. Known for her warmth and compassion, Lora is a trusted guide for families navigating aging and care decisions, walking alongside them every step of the way.

Vera Sarabaez

CNA/ Lead Care Professional and Field Supervisor

Vera joined Home Instead in 2023 as a Care Professional. Her resume includes over 20 years of experience from private care to facility care. Within her first year, she transitioned to Lead Care Pro, a position she currently holds working full time as an office staff member. Among her many responsibilities as CNA and Field Supervisor, Vera conducts verbal and in-person orientations, writes individualized care plans, does follow up Quality Assurance check ins, and leads professional development training for care professionals in the field and in-office; all while serving as a liaison to clients and CarePros. Vera’s hands-on training is invaluable to ensure that our clients receive the unique, customized care they deserve. Her interpersonal skills and expertise shine through with everyone she meets! Vera is married with three children and one granddaughter. She loves helping people, music and sunny days.

Marjorie Willis

Marjorie Willis

CNA/Lead Care Professional

Marjorie has been a CNA/HHA for over 16 years. She worked at a LTC facility for 12 years; caring for residents on different units including – rehab, long term care and memory care, ALS and MS units. She is Hospice Experienced and holds certificates in dementia. Marjorie is very caring and compassionate and is our 2026 nominee for CarePro of the year!
