Julia brings a big heart and a wealth of community experience to her role as Business Development Advisor at Home Instead. Though born in London, Kentucky, she moved to Western Kentucky at age four and grew up in Morganfield. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Murray State University, Julia spent five years teaching elementary and secondary school right in her hometown.
From there, her career shifted into leadership. She managed teachers at the local Job Corps and later worked as the Green River Manager for the State of Kentucky’s KTAP and SNAP programs. After years of dedicated public service covering multiple counties, she earned her well-deserved retirement from the state.
Julia first joined the Home Instead family in 2020 as an on-call team member for Henderson. Her passion for helping seniors brought her back to us in 2025 in her current role.
For Julia, business development is all about building real relationships. She acts as a bridge between families who need high-quality care and the healthcare professionals who support them. By teaming up with hospital discharge planners, rehab centers, doctors, and local organizations, she helps create smooth, worry-free transitions for aging adults. Julia loves educating our community about personalized home care so seniors can live safe, independent, and happy lives at home.
Away from work, Julia lives in Morganfield with her husband, Billy. They have been happily married for four years and share a wonderful, bustling family of seven children and eight grandchildren—all of whom they love to spoil!
