Kunal started his career as an investment analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for managing hospital investment portfolios. After completing the investment analyst program, Kunal joined his family's apparel manufacturing business as a Co-CEO. With an ingrained desire to help and serve others, Kunal sought to rejoin the healthcare and social work industry. He purchased the Western Kentucky Home Instead Franchises in April of 2023, which he currently manages full time. Kunal received a degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

She served as Associate Faculty of Columbia University - Teaching at Summer & Winter Fire Schools for Firefighters, Paramedics as well as Police Officers in Outdoor Search & Rescue. Tricia is a Former Co-Owner of EMS Education Network - Providing Consulting Services and Training for Health & Safety, Workers' Compensation, First Responders & Facility Maintenance in Industrial Manufacturing. Eventually, she took a leap into the Human Resource field since she had a background in Business Management. This is where she found her true passion! Her life path and interest in business and people led her to establishing a place in corporate human resources positions. Tricia has spent over 24 years now in the Management of Human Resource & Staffing field on several levels, from Manager, Branch Manager, Area Manager to Regional Manager of multiple site locations. Tricia relocated from Missouri to Kentucky where her continued desire to serve people brought her to Home Instead. This is where her desire to help others began to flourish and was able to quickly connect within the 14 counties that Home Instead served. Within an accumulative time of 13 plus years, Tricia has successfully held multiple positions at Home Instead to include the following: Staffing Coordinator, Recruitment & Retention Coordinator, Client Care Coordinator, Marketing, HR Director and Director of Operations overseeing both offices in Owensboro & Henderson, KY. Tricia stated that the most rewarding part of working for Home Instead is playing a vital role in assisting families to remain living in their home to extend their quality of life, and the most inspirational is the annual "Be a Santa to a Senior" program! Tricia is a born leader and thrives on motivating others to reach their full potential! She has a true passion for helping others. The Home Instead slogan "To us it's Personal" truly identifies Tricia.

Michelle Baker

AA, Billing and Payroll Specialist

Michelle Baker was born and raised in West Virginia, close to Pittsburgh. For the last eight years, however, she's called Owensboro her home. At Home Instead, Michelle is responsible for making sure our clients receive outstanding service, while helping them understand their bills. She also handles payroll for our large base of CAREGivers. Michelle's life revolves around her family. Her husband of 20 years, Tim, is a chef. She also has a daughter and two sons, one of which is in the Air Force serving our country in Afghanistan. Her children have blessed her with two grandchildren who call her "Nana", which she says is her favorite title. Wanting something more, Michelle came to Home Instead in April of 2013. "Home Instead is a fabulous place to be," she said. "I love seeing how our CAREGivers change the lives of our clients each and every day." Michelle says she has two mottos she lives by: "Treat others the way you want to be treated." and "Life is short; be happy." She says optimism and pessimism is a choice.

Meet Julia Email: julia.brown@homeinstead.com Julia brings a big heart and a wealth of community experience to her role as Business Development Advisor at Home Instead. Though born in London, Kentucky, she moved to Western Kentucky at age four and grew up in Morganfield. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Murray State University, Julia spent five years teaching elementary and secondary school right in her hometown. From there, her career shifted into leadership. She managed teachers at the local Job Corps and later worked as the Green River Manager for the State of Kentucky’s KTAP and SNAP programs. After years of dedicated public service covering multiple counties, she earned her well-deserved retirement from the state. Julia first joined the Home Instead family in 2020 as an on-call team member for Henderson. Her passion for helping seniors brought her back to us in 2025 in her current role. For Julia, business development is all about building real relationships. She acts as a bridge between families who need high-quality care and the healthcare professionals who support them. By teaming up with hospital discharge planners, rehab centers, doctors, and local organizations, she helps create smooth, worry-free transitions for aging adults. Julia loves educating our community about personalized home care so seniors can live safe, independent, and happy lives at home. Away from work, Julia lives in Morganfield with her husband, Billy. They have been happily married for four years and share a wonderful, bustling family of seven children and eight grandchildren—all of whom they love to spoil!
