​My husband, Todd, and I made the decision to open a Home Instead in Hutchinson in 2004. I started the business while Todd continued his full-time employment until the business grew. We feel passionate about caring for seniors and providing jobs in our community. This business is as much a mission to us as a career. My background is in health care. I graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and have worked as a Registered Nurse in the hospital setting, home health industry and nursing administration. I believe I was led to this industry and my life/career experiences prepared me to own a Home Instead franchise. I have lived in Kansas all my life and in Hutchinson for 29 years. We are blessed to have raised our children, Jarrod and Candace, in a wonderful community in which we have a majority of our family living within 70 miles. I enjoy being my children's #1 fan, traveling, and sharing time with family and friends.

My wife, Cindy and I started this Home Instead Franchise in the fall of 2004 after seeing a need for non - skilled services for the aging population. I have 40 years of business experience in sales, marketing, and human resources. It has been a life - long dream to own and operate my own business. I graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Hutchinson is where I was born, and I felt very fortunate to raise our two children Jarrod (32) and Candace (29) in this wonderful community. We feel blessed they have married perfect partners. We are pleased to announce we have a grandson as well!

During my young adult life, I worked in many Banks and eventually a Credit Union where I spent my last "banking days" handling fraud. Several years ago, I had the privilege of caring for my dad who had health issues and that is where I learned how to help seniors. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Todd and Cindy Miller, the owners of Home Instead- Hutchinson KS…the rest is history. I have lived in Hutchinson Kansas all my life. I have 2 adult children and I keep myself busy working. I have a huge extended family, so we all get together often, it is all about family! I also have my Home Instead family, so my world is complete.

I grew up in a multi-generational home, so my love for seniors came from my Grandma. For more than 27 years my career was in long term care. I was ready for a change but still wanted to work with the senior population. Home Instead has been the perfect fit! I have interactions with our clients and their families and have made good relationships with our Care Pros. I love spending time with my family, I'm so blessed to have my loved ones close by. We are a sports loving bunch so a lot of our "family time" is spent cheering on our favorite teams!
