Ben has been successfully providing care in Southern Indiana since 2008. "My wife, Julie, and I made a conscious decision to raise a family in this area. We are so lucky to get so much from our community; we want to give something back. I look forward to working with this dedicated staff in helping our adult population maintain their independence and quality of life." Ben graduated from Purdue in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. After graduation he went to work for Ameriqual and was fortunate to work in a company that developed and fostered tremendous growth over his 18 years there. Ben recognizes and appreciates the value each of his Administrative team brings to Home Instead. One of Ben's greatest strengths is his ability to empower each and every employee to grow both professionally and personally. He takes great pride in bringing out the "greatness" of each of his employees, whether they are part of our Administrative Team or one of our extraordinary Care Professionals.

Brad joined the Home Instead team in April of 2020. He is responsible for overseeing our offices in Evansville, Bloomington, Jasper, West Indianapolis, Kokomo, Muncie, and Terre Haute, covering the majority of Southwestern Indiana. Brad has four children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Brad enjoys community engagement, family time, running, and playing pickleball. What does Home Instead mean to you? "To me Home Instead is a place I can go every day and have a positive impact on someone's life through relationships and interactions - every interaction is important. I get to work with the team, with our Clients, with our Care Professionals, and with our partners, and my goal is to make every one of those interactions positive."

Heather began her journey with Home Instead in August 2017. She started as a caregiver after she herself cared for one of her own family members for more than 8 years. Heather truly understands the value of what Home Instead does for our community. In March 2021, Heather began working in the Evansville franchise office providing scheduling support. Beginning July 2024, Heather accepted her new role as Office Coordinator. She works diligently each day to ensure that the Evansville office runs efficiently and provides support where needed. She now works with the finance team assisting with payroll and Human Resources. What does Home Instead mean to you? "It is very personal to me since I used to be a caregiver for a family member. I know how important it is to families to keep their loved ones home as long as possible."

Customer Experience & Marketing Specialist

Joseph Heeke joined the Home Instead team in February of 2025 as the Customer Experience & Marketing Specialist. In his role, Joseph is responsible for enhancing the client and family experience, supporting community outreach efforts, managing marketing initiatives, and helping share the Home Instead mission throughout the communities we serve. Joseph is currently a student at the University of Southern Indiana. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, playing sports, spending time with his family, and expressing his creativity through drawing and painting. Coming from a large family of 14 children, with 10 brothers and 3 sisters, Joseph values the importance of connection, compassion, and strong relationships. Joseph's goal during his time at Home Instead is to create meaningful experiences for our clients, their families, and our team members. He is passionate about building relationships, strengthening the Home Instead presence in the community, and ensuring every interaction reflects the care and compassion that define our mission.

Lacey joined the Home Instead team in March 2026, bringing a strong Human Resources background from her time with the Department of Defense. She is passionate about supporting both Care Professionals and clients, helping create an environment where everyone feels appreciated, respected, and cared for.

Owen joined the Home Instead team in July of 2025. He is responsible for all things finance related. In his spare time Owen enjoys running, spending time with family, visiting friends, and drinking coffee. A few years ago, Owen became an uncle. Since then, his three siblings have added two more children to add to his uncle status! Owen's goal in his time at Home Instead is to make sure our clients and their families are provided with accurate and timely information whenever requested. He works to make sure our billing and payroll processes run smoothly and is always looking for improvements.
