Kelly Hutchison

Kelly Hutchison

Owner

Kelly experienced the caregiving journey firsthand when his father, a WWII decorated Army veteran, passed away in the family farmhouse in 1999. The decade-long experience opened his eyes and heart to the challenges families face when caring for their senior loved one. Prior to Home Instead, Kelly worked in the consulting industry for twenty years. He helped large consumer goods and health care service provider design and implement business strategies and improve operations. This business experience helps him assess problems and implement solutions. He is very proud of his trusted relationships with Home Instead's Care Professionals and is inspired by their compassion. One of Kelly's quotes: "Each day I come to work happy and I go home happy."

Colleen McGuinn

Colleen McGuinn

President

Colleen has been with Home Instead since 2004. She holds a degree in Business Marketing and previously worked as an Advertising and Sales Consultant. When her own father became ill, Colleen quit her job in a sales and marketing career to become the primary family caregiver. Colleen found this role so rewarding that she took a part-time job as a caregiver with Home Instead. Colleen was quickly promoted to the Client Care team for seven years. She received her certification as a Certified Senior Advisor in 2010. Colleen was promoted to Home Care Consultant in June, 2016. In 2017, Colleen was again promoted to lead the team of Client Care Managers. In 2021, she became General Manager of the Itasca Home Instead before being promoted to President of the Fox River Valley location in 2023! She ensures that families receive the care they need to achieve their goals. Colleen has three children and one granddaughter. She enjoys walking, reading, and attending her granddaughter's sporting events.​

Matt Steuart

Sales Director

Matt has worked in the Healthcare industry for over twelve years. The majority of that experience was in Oncology care where Matt learned the importance of making everything centered around the patient. By making the patient the sole focus, he has been able to develop strategies, foster relationships with healthcare providers, and identify new ways to help improve patient outcomes. Matt has been with Home Instead since 2024 and brings a passion for helping our aging population. He looks forward to exploring news ways and technologies to keep those happy and healthy in his community. When Matt isn't at work, he enjoys spending time being active with his wife and their two kids. Matt's hobbies include traveling, playing golf, spending time with family, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.

Katie Hansen

Social Media Manager

Katie joined the Home Instead family in May 2025 as the Social Media Manager for the St. Charles, Naperville, and Itasca offices, often bouncing between locations each week. After graduating college in 2022 with a degree in graphic design, photography, and marketing, she built a career as a multimedia contractor and is grateful for the flexibility to continue working with a variety of clients, as well as capturing our wonderful Home Instead family. Though she never imagined working in senior care, capturing seniors' stories has quickly become one of the most fulfilling parts of her week. Outside of work, she can be found on a pickleball or volleyball court, spending time with loved ones, or - of course - out with her camera.

Client Care Manager

Gina started with Home Instead in 2024 as our Client Care Manager, ensuring families in our community get the care and support they need. Gina has spent most of her career working with Special Needs children and adults as an Aide and then moved on to Job Coach and Vocational Coordinator. Gina has raised three children and is a Grandma (GG) to three beautiful grandchildren. She has a dog and a cat and lives in St. Charles. She spends most of her free time in nature horseback riding, hiking, and kayaking. Family and friends are an integral part of her life. She enjoys music and the restaurant scene in the Fox River Valley.

James Wall

Technologist

James Wall joined Home Instead in 2024 as a Care Professional before advancing to his current role as Staffing Manager for the St. Charles office. His experience in caregiving, including caring for his mother and older sister, gives him a deep understanding of exceptional care. Before joining Home Instead, James gained extensive experience in fleet management, including cost and productivity management, staffing, payroll, safety compliance, and scheduling for both private fleet and common carrier operations. He utilized various software solutions to optimize efficiency. James was promoted Staffing Manager in St. Charles, where he oversees staffing and operations, ensuring caregivers are supported and clients receive the highest quality service. In this role, James leverages his operations and logistics background to enhance staffing processes and improve care quality. He is dedicated to training and motivating caregivers to provide compassionate support, aiming to further elevate Home Instead's reputation. Outside of work, James enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Thik, and their children, Kaiden, Sabastien, and Malallie. He finds fulfillment in diving into inspirational books, listening to a variety of music, staying active through sports, and relaxing with movies.

Office Manager

Paula joined Home Instead in 2024 as an Office Manager and expanded her role in March 2025 by becoming a Care Professional. With a background as an executive assistant, Paula's career took a meaningful turn when her father was suddenly admitted to a nursing home. The experience was a wake-up call for her and her family, who ensured he had constant support and companionship. It was during this time that Paula discovered her true calling - providing compassionate, attentive care to seniors. Her firsthand experience ignited a deep passion for caregiving, and she now brings empathy, dedication, and warmth to every client she serves. Outside of work, Paula enjoys reading, golfing, kayaking, and spending time in nature. She also cherishes the company of her two beloved cats - mama Stormy and her playful son, Tornado.

Office Manager

Marcia joined Home Instead in October 2022 as a caregiver, a role that reflects a lifelong passion for helping others, and expanded her role in March 2026 as an Office Manager. Caregiving has been part of her life for as long as she can remember-from supporting her grandmother during her final years to caring for her aunt, who lived with multiple sclerosis and used a wheelchair for over 20 years. At Home Instead, Marcia values the meaningful connections she builds with clients, the opportunity to help them maintain their independence, and the flexibility the role provides. Her compassion and experience allow her to bring both skill and heart to every interaction. Outside of work, Marcia enjoys staying active by hiking and biking, and she loves immersing herself in history and fantasy at Renaissance fairs. She is also a proud parent to a 20-year-old son and the devoted companion of two cats.
