Eric grew up in Joliet, Illinois, and began his professional journey in 1998 when he joined the United States Coast Guard. After completing his service, he built a successful career in the steel construction industry before joining Home Instead in 2012 alongside his wife, Courtney. Eric is deeply committed to serving the seniors and families of the community he calls home. Reflecting on his role, Eric shares, "Courtney and I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such a dedicated Administrative Team and an amazing group of Care Professionals who are truly committed to the seniors we serve. It is rewarding to know that every day we have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of families in the same community where I grew up. One of the most meaningful parts of this work is the relationships we build-everyone has a story, and I have the privilege of hearing and learning from those experiences." Courtney grew up in New Lenox, Illinois, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University and a Master of Education from DePaul University. She has been part of the Home Instead family since 2004 and has dedicated her career to enhancing the lives of seniors while supporting the families who care for them. Reflecting on her role and mission, Courtney shares, "It is truly an honor to provide quality care to seniors throughout our community. Every day I have the privilege of working alongside an Administrative Team that is deeply committed to meeting the needs of both our clients and Care Professionals. Together, we share the goal of ensuring every client is supported by compassionate Care Professionals who keep dignity, comfort, and well-being at the center of the care they provide." Crystal serves as the General manager at Home Instead Joliet and brings a unique perspective to the role, having started her journey with the organization as a Care Professional in 2017. Through dedication, leadership, and a deep passion for serving seniors, she progressed through several administrative roles, gaining a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of the business-from caregiving and client care to operations and team development. Her experience at every level of the organization allows her to lead with empathy, insight, and a strong commitment to Home Instead's mission. Sherry joined Home Instead in 2026 as our Director of Community Partnerships, bringing extensive experience in hospice intake and healthcare relationship management. Throughout her career, she has built strong partnerships with healthcare providers, patients, and families while helping navigate care during some of life's most important transitions. In her role, Sherry is dedicated to strengthening relationships throughout the community and serving as a trusted resource for healthcare professionals, senior organizations, and families seeking quality in-home care. She is passionate about community involvement and believes that meaningful connections and collaboration are essential to ensuring aging adults receive the support they need to age safely and independently at home. Grisel joined Home Instead in 2021 as a Service Coordinator and plays an important role in ensuring both clients and Care Professionals receive the support they need to succeed. She oversees client scheduling and thoughtfully aligns each client's needs with Care Professionals' availability, helping create reliable care schedules that support comfort and consistency for the families we serve. Grisel is known for her collaborative approach and genuine commitment to both clients and Care Professionals. She takes the time to understand each situation, working closely with the team to create strong matches that lead to lasting relationships and positive care experiences. Lauren joined Home Instead in 2026 as our HR Coordinator, bringing a passion for people and a strong foundation in human resources. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management and Organizational Leadership, equipping her with the knowledge and skills to build and support a thriving workforce. In her role, Lauren leads our recruitment and retention efforts, focusing on attracting compassionate, dependable Care Professionals and creating an exceptional employee experience from the very beginning. She oversees the hiring process, onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and retention strategies that help our Care Professionals feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. Lauren is passionate about connecting the right people with meaningful careers. She understands the importance of delivering the highest quality care to the aging adults and families we serve.

Office Coordinator

Cloie joined Home Instead in 2026 as our Office Coordinator, bringing a strong foundation in organization, communication, and relationship-building. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Central College, where she developed a strong understanding of people and the importance of meaningful connection. Prior to joining Home Instead, Cloie worked for the Will County Clerk's Office and also gained experience as a Marketing Intern. She also had the unique opportunity to study abroad in South Korea, broadening her cultural perspective and strengthening her adaptability. As Office Coordinator, Cloie plays a key role in recruiting and onboarding our Care Professionals, helping to ensure each new team member is welcomed, prepared, and equipped for success. She also supports the day-to-day operations of our office and helps ensure our clients, families, and Care Professionals receive excellent service. Her professionalism and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset as we continue to expand our capacity to care.
