Franchise Business Owner

Anne is our Franchise Business Owner. She began her career with Home Instead Inc. at the home office in Omaha, NE, in 2004. In 2008, she and her husband, Troy, purchased the Polk Co. franchise and has since acquired the Franchises located in Newton and Iowa City, Iowa. Anne is dedicated to fostering a culture of leadership, promoting Home Instead in the community, and organizing community service projects. She is passionate about raising awareness in the Iowa City area about senior issues, challenges, and needs. Anne currently serves on the Board of the Iowa Center for Home Care. Her dedication and passion has been recognized as Home Instead's first Franchisee of the Year recipient in 2024.

Becky Weaver

General Manager

As General Manager, Becky oversees daily business operations and provides organizational leadership that fosters an inclusive and supportive culture for her team. She is also responsible for Care Professional screening, education, and training. Becky brings extensive senior care experience to her role. Before joining Home Instead in 2019, she worked for 14 years as a Nursing Assistant and Clinical Technician at the University of Iowa Hospital. She lives in Wilton with her husband, Aaron, and their five children. In her free time, Becky enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Jaden McDonough

Jaden McDonough

Client Care Coordinator

Jaden serves as our Client Care Coordinator, bringing more than seven years of experience in senior care as a CNA. A recent graduate of the University of Iowa, she is dedicated to supporting clients and their families with compassion and professionalism. In her role, Jaden meets and onboards new clients, conducts quality assurance visits, and collaborates with local referral providers. She is committed to building trusting relationships and making client and family needs a top priority. Passionate about her work, Jaden strives to help aging adults achieve their goal of living safely and successfully at home. Jaden lives in Iowa City with her cat. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

Lexie Tandy

Service Coordinator

Lexie joined our team as Service Coordinator in August 2025. In this role, she is responsible for scheduling clients and Care Professionals to ensure the best possible match. With a strong passion for serving older adults, Lexie previously worked as a Coordinator in a Memory Care Unit for four years and became a Certified Dementia Practitioner in 2024. She understands the importance of building meaningful connections and values the trust that develops between clients and caregivers. Lexie lives in rural Washington County with her family and a variety of animals, including goats, chickens, several cats, and their loyal guard dog, Ben. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family and exploring her creativity in the sewing room.

Home Care Consultant

Kara serves as our Home Care Consultant. She joined Home Instead in September 2025. She has an extensive background in senior living, previously in sales and marketing roles in a community setting. She has over 14 years of experience helping families find a community for their loved ones. She is dedicated to building strong community connections and is committed to being a valuable resource for families in need. She is passionate about advocating for older adults. She lives in Cedar Rapids with her husband, Conrad, and has 2 daughters. In her free time, Kara enjoys spending quality time with her family.
