Duties and Responsibilities:
· Companionship and conversation
· Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
· Medication and appointment reminders
· Assistance with grooming and bathing
· Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
· Alzheimer’s Care
· Providing transportation to and from appointments and errands
Requirements to be a Home Health Aide:
· Must be 21 years or older
· Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
· Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
· Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner
· Have or be willing to complete a criminal background check
· Possess a valid FL. driver’s license and valid auto insurance
· Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
· Have or be willing to obtain a current CPR Certification Card
· HIV/Aids (If not we will train)
· Alzheimer’s Training (If not we will train)
· Passing scores on the HHA Written Exam and Skills Testing, provided through the office.
