There are few jobs which bring as much personal satisfaction as improving another person's quality of life. At Home Instead, our office and caregiving team do this literally 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We understand the aging process and the fierce fight to retain independence by our clients. Our team is trained to respect both: providing support and maintaining independence. Our caregiving team are all our employees; they are not independent contractors. We recruit, train, and support them daily. Upon hire they are fully interviewed, background checked, pass the State of Florida competency exams as well as a practical exam with our Nurse. All are provided ongoing coaching so they may achieve optimal performance; all in an effort to provide them a rewarding career. Our clients benefit from capable home health aides who are both loyal and empathetic; many become an extended member of that client's family. Our clients range from middle age retirees, to those in their 100's and everywhere in between. Their needs range from simple companionship and meal preparation to more extensive support for diseases such a Dementia (including Alzheimers, Lewy Body, and Parkinson's), diabetes, stroke, colostomy/catheter care and others. Our office team consists of Client Care, HR/Employee Development, Recruiting, Nurse, Finance and Marketing Specialists. Our local office in Palm Beach County is also supported by our global Home Instead headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska which is staffed with many geriatric and other specialists.
