Background: Robert has a long history of serving his community and country, as a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force and the New Castle County Police Department. He became the Director of Operations for Home Instead Senior Care in 1999, after realizing his passion to assist seniors in his community. Why senior care? Robert has a special aspiration to serve the vast local Veterans population. He ensures every staff member takes their job personally and understands the mission of actively changing the face of aging for our local senior population.

Operations Manager

Background: Julie joined the Home Instead team in 2008 initially as a CAREGiver. She also worked as a Recruiting and Retention Coordinator and more recently, a Client Care Coordinator ensuring that all client received they care they needed. Julie has extensive experience in the field and working with seniors in a multitude of capacities. Why senior care? Julie's passion for working with seniors stems from her own personal experience of caring for her elderly mother. She is eager and willing to help anyone in need.

Background: Having spent many years in the customer service field and supervising in a call center, Angela was needed to provide care for her aging parents. She has a compassionate and caring nature and is able to be the calm voice in any situation. She truly lives up to our Core Values: Communication, Accuracy, Teamwork, and Integrity. Why Senior Care? Angela chose to work for Home Instead Senior Care after her experience as a family caregiver who received assistance from Home Instead for her parents. "Everyone was so helpful. They cared for my dad mostly, but always made sure my mother, who had dementia always felt included. I knew this had to be a great place to work. After I began working for Home Instead, I immediately felt like I was a part of the family."

​Background: ​ Michele joined the Home Instead team after working in pharmaceuticals for 30 years. Through her career she developed a knack for building relationships with all types of people and strengthened her listening skills to be able to accurately make suggestions to help meet her clients needs. After retiring to Delaware, Michele joined the Home Instead family and has been a wealth of information for her clients and their families to help get the superior service they deserve. ​Why Senior Care: ​ After being a primary caregiver for her mother after she was diagnosed with dementia, when Michele saw the advertisement for Home Instead Senior Care, she knew the position was meant for her. She rejoined the work force to ensure the seniors in her area are well cared for while they remain in the comfort of their own homes.

Background: Hannah worked in Direct Care for over 10 years mainly with the youth and young adult population before taking time off to care for her own children. She re-entered the work force by going into retail where she became a supervisor shortly thereafter. During this time, she was able to hone her customer service skills. Why senior care? Although she loved working in retail, Hannah has always had a passion for helping others and wanted to provide service in a different way. While looking for a career change, she found Home Instead. She felt it was the perfect fit and made the leap.

Background: Tara has been a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for over 20 years. Her passion for caregiving began at a young age as she cared for and supported the older adults in her family. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, where her dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping others have continued to grow. Tara takes pride in providing exceptional care while building meaningful relationships with the seniors and families she serves.

Background: Growing up, I was always helping my family members whenever they needed support. I also volunteered at my local senior center, and that's where I realized how much I truly enjoy caring for and helping older adults. My volunteer work with the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life further strengthened my passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others. Helping people has always been something I find rewarding, and it is one of the reasons I chose to work in senior care. I enjoy building meaningful relationships, providing compassionate support, and helping seniors maintain their independence and quality of life. In my free time, I enjoy reading, attending truck and tractor shows with my husband, spending time with my parents, and making memories with my family.
