Mikey Miller, Service Coordinator
Job Responsibilities: Coordinates the scheduling of service for clients; responsible for scheduling clients and care professionals in order to provide the highest quality service.
Why Senior Care: In all honestly, I stumbled into senior care but I'm happy I did! For about a year, I worked for the front desk with City of Fort Collins recreation department. I particularly loved working at the Senior Center and helping out the elderly, relating to them and trying to bridge the generational gap between us. On a generalized level, throughout my adult life, I've picked up a broad understanding of marginalized groups and the inequities faced by said groups. In particular, It's disheartening knowing that elder abuse at it's most extreme occurs as well as a generally negative attitude toward aging exists. Afterall, we all age and we all need help.
