Owners

Jared and Erica Wagner are the Owners of the Home Instead located in Castle Rock, Colorado. This Home Instead covers Clear Creek, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, Jefferson, Park and Summit counties in Colorado. Jared and Erica come from a background of strong work ethic. Both met in Colorado after moving here from the mid-west. Jared has a long history in operations working years in supply chain and logistics. Erica is a Registered Dietitian and worked in hospitals throughout the Denver area and years with a Home Health company in Northern Colorado. During their free time they love spending time with their two little kids, Grayson who is 5 years old and Lennon who is 3. Of course, it wouldn't be right to not mention their "first born" chocolate lab named Charlie. Both coming from small towns, they know the importance of taking care of those around you. They currently reside in Castle Rock, Colorado and feel it is important to live within the community they serve.

With over 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Jeramy brings a deep commitment to serving the aging population. Before joining Home Instead, Jeramy worked in another healthcare sector, where he developed a strong foundation in supporting seniors with dignity and compassion. His background in Business Management and Accounting equips him with the strategic and operational skills needed to lead with both heart and efficiency. Jeramy is passionate about helping people age respectfully and believes deeply in the Home Instead model of empowering individuals to remain in their homes with the support they need. His leadership is driven by a mission to enhance quality of life for clients and their families. Outside of work, Jeramy enjoys a full and active life with his wife and children. His favorite pastimes include playing volleyball and pickleball, painting, and spending time outdoors.

Carrie Gilbert

Director of Nursing

Carrie is a Registered Nurse with a deep passion for caring for others, especially the elderly. Her experience spans burn care, neurosurgery, home health, and hospice, giving her a well-rounded clinical background paired with genuine compassion. Over the past two years in hospice and home health, she has found a meaningful calling supporting individuals and families through some of life's most challenging and sacred moments. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Carrie graduated from Leysin American School in Switzerland, where she developed a love for the mountains and skiing. She began her nursing career at Parkland Hospital's Burn Unit and later worked on the Neuro-Surgical/VIP floor at Baylor Hospital. In the midst of her professional journey, Carrie dedicated 26 years to raising and homeschooling her six children-an experience that deeply shaped her patience, resilience, and understanding of people. Now based in Colorado, Carrie has returned to nursing with a renewed sense of purpose. Her life and career experiences have given her a unique ability to connect with and care for others in a deeply personal way. At her core, Carrie simply loves people and finds true joy in showing up for others with encouragement, compassion, and a steady presence.

Hana relocated to Colorado in 2002 from the Czech Republic. Her passion for helping individuals of all ages began many years ago, initially working with children with special needs. In 2021, she joined the Home Instead team as a Care Professional and quickly transitioned into an office role just a few months later. She served as a Training Coordinator for several years before stepping into her current position as Client Care Manager. Hana is deeply committed to supporting others, fostering meaningful relationships, and ensuring that clients and their families have access to the resources they need to thrive in older adulthood. In her free time, she enjoys staying active and embracing the outdoors.

Nathan brings an experienced perspective of over 7 years in home care specializing in employee experience, customer service and team leadership. He is passionate about helping others thrive in their roles while making sure clients receive the best care possible. Nathan chose this path because he believes in the power of people. He knows that finding the right caregiver isn't just about skills, it's about heart and a passion for the care you provide. That's why he's dedicated to building a team that reflects compassion, reliability, and connection. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys camping in Colorado's great outdoors, traveling to catch up with friends, and playing the guitar to unwind. He brings that same thoughtful and positive energy into everything he does at Home Instead.

CarePro Manager

D'Shaun is the Care Professional Manager at Home Instead and brings over 15 years of experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He is passionate about helping caregivers feel confident and supported in their work, believing that when Care Professionals feel valued and equipped, the people they care for receive the best possible support. At Home Instead, D'Shaun leads orientation and training programs, including specialized Alzheimer's, hospice, and Parkinson's care, and provides ongoing coaching to help caregivers grow in their roles. He is driven by a commitment to building strong, trusting relationships with staff and clients alike, and creating a culture where everyone feels empowered to succeed and make a difference in their community. - "I care deeply about creating spaces where caregivers can grow-not just in their skills, but in their confidence and sense of purpose." -"I'm inspired by the connections caregivers make with clients and families, and I want to give them the tools and encouragement to thrive in those relationships." - "I believe that when we invest in caregivers, we're investing in stronger, healthier communities."

Andrea was born and raised in Boston, MA. She has been married 28 years and has 4 beautiful kids. She became a Care Professional in 2016 because she felt she could make a difference for those in need. While working for Home Instead in Massachusetts, she felt compelled to continue working with the company. Her husband received a promotion in 2022, and they moved to Colorado. Fortunately, she was able to transfer to the Castle Rock office and continued working as a Care Professional. In 2023, she was moved into the office to share her knowledge with others. As the Service Coordinator, she is responsible for strategically aligning the right clients with the most suitable care professionals to ensure their individual needs are met. This includes managing and adjusting schedules with precision and flexibility to maintain seamless service delivery.

Samantha is a dedicated home care professional who is deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves. She brings a natural sense of compassion, patience, and respect to every interaction, prioritizing comfort, trust, and a positive experience for each individual in her care. For Samantha, caregiving is more than a profession-it's a genuine passion that motivates her every day. A Colorado native, Samantha finds balance and inspiration in the outdoors, embracing the peace and perspective it provides. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, who add energy and joy to her life. Guided by a strong belief in kindness, connection, and the power of a caring attitude, Samantha consistently brings warmth and dedication to both her personal life and her work.
