Bob Fritz

Bob Fritz

Co-Owner

I served four years in the U.S. Army, including one year deployed in Iraq. After completing my military service, I earned my Business degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My journey with Home Instead began in 2006 at the company's Global Headquarters, where I initially worked in a technical role. Over time, I found myself drawn to the operations side of the organization and quickly fell in love with the culture and mission of enhancing the lives of seniors and their families. After managing a team that supported hundreds of Home Instead franchises across North America, my wife Makalla and I made the decision to invest in our own franchise right here in Phoenix. Today, we get to lead this amazing team to fulfill this meaningful mission, working to ensure that the families we serve receive the highest level of support and partnership. My passion for serving older adults goes back to my high school years when my grandmother lived in our family home. During that time, I saw firsthand how challenging it was for my mother to manage a household while also being the primary caregiver for her own mother, who was living with Parkinson's disease. Despite the challenges, those years were also some of the most meaningful and fulfilling of my mom's life because she was able to help her mother remain at home. Makalla and I have two wonderful daughters who keep us busy outside of work. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching college football (Go Huskers!), following the Arizona Cardinals and love me some baseball.

Co-owner

My husband Bob and I are proud to be the co-owners of Home Instead serving North Central Phoenix. Before dedicating my career to senior care, I spent 15 years working as a high school counselor and teacher. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Iowa State University and my Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My background in counseling and education has always been rooted in serving and supporting others, which is one of the reasons working in senior care feels so meaningful to me. Originally from Nebraska, I feel incredibly grateful to now serve the aging population here in the beautiful state of Arizona. It is truly a privilege to work with seniors, their families, and our wonderful team of caregivers who make it possible for older adults to remain safe, comfortable, and supported at home. Outside of Home Instead-my "third baby"-Bob and I are also the proud parents of two sweet daughters. I love spending time with family and friends and traveling whenever we have the opportunity.

Hi! My name is Holly. I have held many different roles throughout my life, but something that has always been important to me is helping others. I am a very people-oriented person, so no matter what job I've had, interacting with and supporting others has always been a big part of it. My journey brought me from Michigan to Arizona, where I started with Home Instead as a caregiver before moving into my current role. Now, I work as the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator, where I focus on finding and welcoming new caregivers to our team. I love the Arizona weather and often say it feels like living in a never-ending vacation. I do miss my family back in Michigan, but working here makes it worth it because our team truly feels like family. I enjoy building relationships and being part of a team that truly cares about people. I have never worked at a place quite like Home Instead-it truly feels like home to me.

Kaydence Ellison

Kaydence Ellison

Service Coordinator

Hello! My name is Kaydence! I've always been a part of a caregiving team, whether through volunteering, working alongside aging adults within my family or working professionally with Home Instead. Those different experiences helped shape my passion for supporting others and confirmed that caring for people is exactly where I am meant to be! In 2024, I made the big move from Washington, where my family lives, to Arizona by myself to continue growing both personally and professionally! With that big move I started nursing school, working towards building my lifelong career in healthcare! Outside of work and school, I value time with my family and take pride in being someone others can rely on! I now work as a Service Coordinator, where I focus on scheduling and improving the overall experience of both caregivers and clients! My role allows me to support the quality care behind the scenes while also building strong relationships with my team. I truly enjoy working with Home Instead because it has a genuine family feel and being a part of an organization that values compassion and connection means a lot to me!
