I served four years in the U.S. Army, including one year deployed in Iraq. After completing my military service, I earned my Business degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My journey with Home Instead began in 2006 at the company's Global Headquarters, where I initially worked in a technical role. Over time, I found myself drawn to the operations side of the organization and quickly fell in love with the culture and mission of enhancing the lives of seniors and their families. After managing a team that supported hundreds of Home Instead franchises across North America, my wife Makalla and I made the decision to invest in our own franchise right here in Phoenix. Today, we get to lead this amazing team to fulfill this meaningful mission, working to ensure that the families we serve receive the highest level of support and partnership. My passion for serving older adults goes back to my high school years when my grandmother lived in our family home. During that time, I saw firsthand how challenging it was for my mother to manage a household while also being the primary caregiver for her own mother, who was living with Parkinson's disease. Despite the challenges, those years were also some of the most meaningful and fulfilling of my mom's life because she was able to help her mother remain at home. Makalla and I have two wonderful daughters who keep us busy outside of work. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching college football (Go Huskers!), following the Arizona Cardinals and love me some baseball.
