Caregiver – Home Instead

What You'll Do
As a Home Instead Caregiver, you may assist seniors with:
Companionship and conversation
Meal preparation and light housekeeping
Medication reminders
Transportation, errands, and appointments
Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Mobility and transfer assistance
Alzheimer's and dementia care
Following individual client care plans
Providing dependable, respectful, and compassionate care
Communicating changes or concerns to the office team
Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
Ability to pass required background checks
Dependable and able to arrive to scheduled shifts on time
Reliable phone and ability to communicate with the office
Ability to safely perform the physical responsibilities of caregiving
Willingness to assist with personal care when required
Compassionate, professional, and respectful attitude
Ability to follow care plans, policies, and safety procedures
